If you have an EV, chances are the dealer pitched their dealer-installed charger option to you, and you thought, I wonder if I can get something cheaper than $5,000 that will do the same job? Yes. Yes you can, and it's right here. And with 48 amps (if your service supports it) on tap, this should charge as fast as the dealer charger, or very close to it. The only thing I wish were different is I wish the screen were a wee bit bigger, sometimes it's hard for me to see unless I take off my glasses. If you have great up-close vision, you won't have a problem, but for those of us getting on in years, the small-ish screen can be hard to read. Of course, you can always use the phone app and you don't have to look at the screen, lol. Overall, my only complaint is the small-ish screen. It's not even enough to take a star off, really. Maybe they'll make it bigger for next year's model. When I look at how much money it saves versus the dealer installed charger, this is a no-brainer home run of a deal. 5 stars. ... show more

This is a nice charger that has everything we wanted in a charger. First off it was in our price range, It is a 48amp charger, and it has a heavier cable than our old charger. We have this charger mounted in a charger case and mounted to the outside of our garage for outdoor charging. This charges charges with no issues; the app was easy to load and is well laid out. This was a good upgrade over our less expensive, less feature packed charger. We love it and we would buy it again. 5 STARS ... show more
