I've only taken this out to 100 yards, but the glass is bright and clear, holds zero no problem. Basically just point and click at that range. We actually used my scope to spot my buddy's shots since he was using a cheaper scope on his rifle. The turrets have a nice tactile click at 0.25 MOA per. It has a side parallax adjustment so the reticle doesn't shift across the target if your head moves. Just adjust the eyepiece first for clarity against the sky then adjust parallax for distance to target. The reticle is just as I like it. Not too busy. It only has hashes on the horizontal. I bought this scope with the firedot. It is the clearest scope I have ever looked through. The firedot makes target aquisition quick and easy. Only 1 drawback - Once you get one, you will want them on your other rifles. I am already planning to buy another this summer.

Mounted this on my browning xbolt 30-06. Extremely clear glass. Very good eye relief. This is my first Leuplod, and definitely won’t be the last. I was die hard other brand but wanted to go with USA made and very glad I did. This scope has made me a Leupold buyer for life. Can’t recommend it enough.
