Bought it for the tropical houseplants so that I don't have to water them so often. The set-up was pretty easy. Used the connection parts and the watering ones with the tube. But do remember to plan your setup of the plants. It's easy to cut the tubes too short. For me, there is plenty of tubes and connectors left. Worked very well first couple weeks! One flaw I feel is that you couldn't bring the water time down any farther than 1min. I have to manually start it 7-8 tomes a day to give my plants a 10sec shot. Last night my system ended up just none stop watering. I woke up to my tent absolutely FLOODED! Took device apart and there was water tk the brim. After 65$ I am pretty disappointed. I tried to send a video into support but the link woukd not attach. Started off very good for this product but went downhill fast. ... show more

After losing two plants post-vacation, I was researching ways to keep my plants alive while away ( I travel a lot, usually 2-3 weeks per trip) and I found this. This came well packaged and the setup was fairly simple, good quality and most importantly you can easily control the watering from your phone. Good quality and nice designed pump! I love this pump because it think of all of the details to prevent leaking, and it is easy to tune the irrigation speed for each plant and set auto actions on app. Worth the money and free me of the labor.

    • It stops every 30 seconds, on purpose!
They call it a feature... But it really impacts how the plants receive water in a negative way and there's no way in their app to disable this feature. The feature is that no matter the duration of your watering, the pump will stop every 30 seconds to "allow the water to soak into the soil". However, by the time it reaches that shutoff period, the plants at the end of the chain haven't received any water yet. So only the plants closest to the device are getting water. All my plants further down chain are dying because the water doesn't get down the tubing and reach them bedore the auto-stop at 30 seconds! ... show more
