  • So simple yet so fun!
Style: Let's Go Fishin'
This game is so simple, easy to use for all ages, and lots of fun. My stepson has ADHD and he loves it. It’s great quality and works very well.

  • My kids (4 and 2) play with this almost every day!
Style: Let's Go Fishin'
This is one of my kids' favorite games - they pull it out almost every day to play with and it's been months since we first purchased it! For that it gets 5 stars. We like: It's a great game for learning to focus and try to catch the fish. They move up and down as they spin around so that's an extra challenge. Kids LOVE it. All of the pieces are bright and colorful, it's really a cheerful game to play. It's simple enough for even young children to play with by themselves, or it can be fun for the entire family to play together. We don't like: The only thing I don't love about it (personally) is the fact that it's very loud when it spins around... and it doesn't play music like it says in the description. The lack of music could be a defect in ours, I'm not sure. So overall I think it's worth buying and adding to your game collection - it's a popular game in our house! NOTE: When I first received this through Amazon, one of the jaws on a fish was broken and several sticker eyes were missing from the fish. HOWEVER, I emailed Pressman Toys customer service through their website and after I sent them the item number and date code on my box they quickly sent me an extra sheet of eye stickers and a replacement fish. So that problem was solved nicely. :) ... show more

  • Childhood Nostalgia, Easy for Preschooler to Learn
Style: Let's Go Fishin'
I used to have this game when I was a kid in the 90s and was looking for a travel game to take on vacation with us. This popped up in the search and I had to get it. For less than $9, it's a bargain. You will need a C battery that is not included. Once all the fish are loaded, you each take a fishing pole and turn the switch on the game. That starts the fish moving and opening and closing their mouths. Be the one who collects the most fish and you win. The motor is kinda loud, but that was to be expected. The game is so fun for the adults, 4 year old and 10 year old. It's actually harder than it looks to hook the fish, so we discovered that you kinda hover the pole end over the mouth and when it opens the mouth, put the pole in and wait til it closes its mouth before you pull it up. You can use this for color recognition and counting as well since you have to count how many fish each person ends up with. My only complaint is the fishing poles are way cheaper and thinner than I remember. You have to be really careful with those or they'll snap. ... show more

  • Great for toddlers
Style: Let's Go Fishin'
My son was two when he first played this and loved it so we got it for his third birthday and he still loves it. Good for that age range and skill level. Not super heavy duty so I know it’s not going to last very long, but it was only $7 so seems worth it for the life we’ll get out of it

  • C BATTERY REQUIRED!!
Style: Let's Go Fishin'
no-where on the package does it tell you it requires a battery, you have to open it, read the six point type instructions, to discover a C battery is required. Besides that, looks like a fun game, should entertain a 5 year old and improve the attention span. BUY A C BATTERY BEFORE YOU PLAY AND AVOID 5 YEAR OLD MELTDOWN!!!!!! Ps, teeny phillips screwdriver required, or the blade on your smallest Swiss army knife screwdriver ... show more
