As you can see, I did an under eves mount with the motion detector pointed in a particular direction so as to only pick up motion in the direction I wanted. This light was the perfect solution for what I needed. The lights can also be easily adjusted to aim where you need them. Like daylight when they are on! This does exactly what I want it to do. When it senses motion it turns on. After a period of time it goes off. During the day it's deactivated. And it's really nice and bright! And with 3 light heads it covers a lot of area. Straighforward installation. I just installed it so I can't speak to its waterproofness, nor its longevity. Almost 3 years, 981 days, it stopped working. The sensor still flashes red when you wave your hand in front of it, and the test option still doesn't turn on the lights. I'll consider buying another one again and hope the next one will last longer.
