this was very easy to install and lights my driveway at least 75 feet ( my driveway is 250 ft and you can see where your walking at least most of the way. I have it set on 2 minutes and is accurate. I dont know how long the solar lasts as its never on long enough to run out

This thing is great! MUCH brighter than what you'd think for solar powered. And you can adjust the 3 different lights to flood different areas. Easy to install (just attach it and the little solar panel with screws). I've had these lights for almost a year now. Yeah. Almost exactly a year now. They are actually pretty darned good. I'm surprised. Just because I've had others that have crapped out long before now. These are still charging and putting out the strong flood that they did from the beginning. The motion detection is a little wonky, but still does detect motion. I probably should crank up, or actually down, the range... But, yeah. I'm actually quite pleased with this purchase and would recommend them. Good and bright. Always there when I, or anyone else, ventures out into the zone. Again, I couldn't be more surprised given my past experience with solar powered security lights. Good on ya LePower. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. For years when I’ve left my little office to commute back home (across my back yard)… it’s always been super dark, especially when we forget to turn on the porch light on the house (about 15 steps away). I think my wife turns the light off just because. :) I have power in my office but didn’t want to run it to the outside (it’s sound proof). This light has been great! Even in the bitter cold, when I leave, or the dogs go out, it lights up the entire yard. Our porch light isn’t even close to the brightness of this light. Installation was a piece of cake and then setting the motion detector and the shut-off timer weee basically turning a knob and flipping a switch. I love this light!! ... show more

    • It works great until the warranty was up (defective sensors like most solar security lights)

I bought 6 of these lights because of increase home invasion around my area. When I got the package 2 of them were defective (was already not happy especially how much they cost and I got 6 of them). I was like okay maybe they got damaged during shipping. The other 4 worked well until a month later and they suddenly stop working (literally all 4 of them stop working within a span of 2 days after the warranty was over). The lights and batteries are okay it is the CHEAP MOTION SENSOR DETECTOR that most of these brands need to fix. I would avoid any solar security lights until they fix this problem and stick with wired ones even I have to drill holes in the wall and drag wires across. Edit: now after a few months of using the remaining 4/6 (refunded 2 of them cause they were defective), they are currently working kind of correctly. Sometimes the light turns on when cars and people pass by but not all the time. I change the rating to 3 stars from 1 star now because these lights are super bright like no joke. When 2 of them turn on around 20 feet apart it nearly lights up the whole front yard and have light spreading to the street. I would give this 4 or 5 stars if the sensor was built better for the night and if it can tell that street lights are hitting/close to the sensor. ... show more
