I have tried a few different I’ve fkashlights including the Braun (from Harbor Freight) and the Hobby Lobby light before buying this light. This light is by FAR the most powerful. I’ve used it a few times to hunt down uranium glass and custard glass. It really makes them glow. I think it’s well made and it’s not too big so it fits comfortably in a pouch or pocket. I replaced the batteries with good quality alkaline batteries. I carry this light everywhere in case I go thrifting or to an antique mall. I keep the 2 other (less potent lights) at home. I just got it last night so I’ve only used it once but it did a great job so far at detecting urine my new puppy (and my nephew) left behind! Now I just have to get busy doing a better job cleaning. If it lasts, I will give it a 5th star ⭐️. No complaints yet though!

I have used this flashlight to test for genuine vs. costume pearls. Genuine pearls will fluoresce under black light. Have had some nice surprises. Down side: had to replace batteries almost immediately, and then light got weak after using about a half dozen more times.
