For the price this is great, does everyday tasks just fine. Been playing with Raspberry Pi4's and they are great. But by the time you spend money for one and buy extras you are close to this price. No problems at all, fast boot, multi tasks fine, all in all it is a fantastic little desktop PC. As for the negative reviews, maybe you got a bad unit, or maybe you are new to computers. This will not run modern games well. You have to run windows setup and update, after that it is smooth sailing.     • Good little machine for cheap
Ordered for my daughter to play Gacha, Minecraft, Roblox, and watch YouTube. Minecraft Java's main bottleneck is storage speed, so while you can build a raid setup with stupid fast storage access to load chunks (the main fps killer) "instantly", you can just lower the load distance and Minecraft will run fine on this box. If I were to utilize this myself, I would definitely use it as a media PC, probably install Kodi or some other frontend, slap on RetroArch, pump it full of roms, and pair some good controllers to it. It's not gonna run your modern games super well, and you're definitely stuck with the integrated Intel graphics, but you'll be surprised what it can handle. Good ram, SSD standard, decent cpu; don't go expecting 60 fps @ 1080 and you'll realize the incredible value of these refurbished office PC's.     • Fantastic value but missing some notable features
I needed an inexpensive basic Windows machine quickly, and this fit the bill. I've had it for about 5 months. The SSD boots up very fast. I'm able to do some fairly minor video composition work, even. It handles basic office tasks and video streaming well. The downsides of this computer are 2 things to keep in mind if you are eyeing it. The external USB Wifi adapter supplied (N) would not connect to my Wifi 6 network, so I bought another Wifi network adapter (AC), which would normally work perfectly as AC works with Wifi 6. This new adapter also did not connect. The Wifi adapter senses the networks nearby fine, but just will not connect. I spent 4-5 hours so far trying to get it to connect. So I have accepted there will be no wireless with this computer, but thankfully I can use wired ethernet. ** The other VERY notable issue is this computer's Intel i5 chip will not be able to upgrade to Windows 11. Windows 10 support is only until 2025 so if this computer lasts until then its total life will be 2022-2025, 3 years. Regardless of these limits, I am actually very pleased with the value of this computer so far and would recommend it - for $179 it was an extremely good deal. But in case you plan to use it for Windows 11/ past 2025, or have a Wifi network better than average, then I would warn against it. ... show more

    • Tiny, Compact, Powerful enough to stream multiple 1080P streams
This is just what it makes out to be. Very compact and quiet (never hear the fan). Used as a PC on the family room TV and hosts a Plex server for pictures, music and home movies etc. Just because I am who I am, I bumped the memory up to 16GB from the 8GB installed (had to buy 2 8GB sticks to replace both 4GB sticks installed). Installation was easy (thanks YouTube!). There was nothing about the performance of the machine that required the memory upgrade, I am just a tinkerer and wanted to future proof the machine from day one (as much as possible). This little box can do pretty much everything except games / apps that require dedicated/discrete graphics. I have it plugged into an Ethernet over powerline adapter so I did not test the WiFi dongle. Keyboard and Mouse were cheap but functional. I only used them long enough to get the PC up on my network and running VNC Server. I completed the install of everything headless and then installed under my TV with a logitech wireless mouse and keyboard. A great (Very) SmallFormFactor PC that I had no issues with being refurbished. Why pay 3 times the price when these units work just as well. ... show more

A great deal for the price. Win10 Pro, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4570T CPU @ 2.90GHz with 8GB of ram, and a 222GB HD. Supports multiple monitors, too. It even ran Fallout 4, although the frame rate was pretty terrible. (Intel HD Graphics 4600) But it was 10 minutes of plug and play, and I had a pretty decent mini desktop, with a very small footprint (You can hold it in your hand) - and it runs like a little champ. ... show more

This PC arrived in superb condition from the seller--like new. It functions very well and I use it as a general purpose utility server for my home. It controls security and lighting, network shares and also functions as a DLNA server for various media. It has plenty of power to do all of this.
