I needed a new laptop quite urgently when my Microsoft Surface Pro died (battery exploded!) and didn't have a lot of time to shop around. I knew that I wanted something that could be used as a standard laptop and also as a tablet on occasion. I considered getting a new Surface, but couldn't justify the cost. Ultimately decided to take a chance on this refurbished Lenovo, and I am so grateful I did! I got top of the line quality at a much discounted rate. It has worked perfectly right out of the box. I have used it for several weeks now and have no complaints. The battery life is good - I charge it probably once a week. My usage isn't terribly heavy, though. I use it almost exclusively for writing, research, videos related to research, etc. No gaming, no movie watching, etc. I do tend to have multiple windows open at a time, listening to music while I work, switching back and forth between resources and applications, word processing, etc. Only complaint, and its minor, is the fingerprint lock. I assumed it was like the fingerprint lock on my cell phone and would register several fingers, but it only registered one. Unfortunately, the one I chose was my thumb, which works well when the laptop is on my lap, but it is awkward on my desk. Just be aware of this. I would suggest using middle finger, to be honest, because it is not as awkward to put on the sensor, but it is less likely to be injured than the index finger (and you want to be sure that the one finger that is registered is going to be available to put on the sensor when you need it). ... show more

Looks brand new! Only signs of wear is the windows 11 sticker for some reason. For me, the computer was purchased back in July and then it was used for a couple months (oct-feb) so not bad! Battery and storage are also in good health. Speedy and fast! You can use a tool to increase the allocated VRAM for the iGPU from 512mb to up to 2gb so it can now to some 720p gaming! Touchscreen is very nice and I like how the laptop supports DisplayPort over USB-C. It’s everything I ever wanted for a laptop but for a killer price! Bought this laptop first time. The first laptop looked good. Visually almost like a brand new. However after several days of using the system decided to update outmatically, which this was wierd because I turned off updates. So, after the update the laptop doesn't turned on. A CapsLk button was lightning and was small noise similar to the noise when system trying to turning on. So, I returned the laptop and bought the second laptop. The second visually looks not good as the first one. There is a big dark-blue sticker on the back of the monitor. After several days of using next problems were identified. 1. The laptop turn off themselves. Some information was lost as a result of this unexpected turn off. When laptop turned off, after several seconds it turned on and showed that Lenovo is planning to install updates. But nothing was installed. 2. The laptop updates and install different apps and software themselves even all updates turned off. 3. Sometimes laptop doesn't allow to change settings. 4. Continuous noise like cooler works hard. Even you just browsing. This noise is annoying and without any reason (no heavy software used) it raises questions. 5. When you use laptop first time the Windows doesn't allow to set up without the Internet connection and account set up. 6. Privacy issues. Even without the Internet the system change fonts of the text when you trying to typing on MS Word. It looks like someone searching what you do and trying to create obstacles. It was well past time to buy my wife a new laptop, but we did not have a budget for it. I found this great deal on the current model of her four-year-old Lenovo Flex. This new one with the Ryzen 7 7730 will be much faster than her old Ryzen 7 3700. She is a primary school teacher and currently in a masters program at university, so 16gb RAM is plenty for her schoolwork. It has 9 months of warranty left with Lenovo, and they have a process to submit our invoice to update the purchase date, and reset the warranty start date to our purchase date. I removed one star because it I could not activate windows with the license key it came with. The seller sent me a replacement that did activate just fine, but the process took a few days of communicating back and forth through Amazon's messaging system. ... show more

The screen has amazing clarity. For a relatively small laptop it is also a pretty powerful. I'm not a gamer so I can't speak to that aspect (although I don't believe that is the intention), but I use it for business and routinely have many browser tabs, development environments and video editing software opened simultaneously and this little system didn't skip a beat. I am always a bit concerned d about refurbished items, especially when it come to battery life. So far the battery has fully changed and I was able to use the system under moderate usage for ablut 6 hours without being plugged in and it still had about 35% power left. Overall, I am really pleased with this purchase. For the price, you can't beat the quality. I am especially pleased with this experience with a refurbished item and would definitely purchase from this seller again. I will update this review in a few months to share how the system continues to perform, but I am not too concerned. ... show more
