I am in love with this! Took me about 1-1/2hrs to put it together by myself. Instructions very clear. Extremely sturdy doesn’t make any noise. I am 5”8 and I’d say the top of the headboard comes right under my chin, maybe even up to my top lip so it is nice and tall. The color depending one where you’re looking at it from seems to be a dark blueish?? But I’m the only one seeing it so it’s possible I could be color blind lol overall 10/10 definitely recommend ... show more

The bed looks great. But the foundation is made of woods, and it looks like a cheap wood. And, the instruction steps have some issues. It does not instruct the front or back for the direction of the frame. There are 50/50 chance that you will put it in the opposite direction. We think it is a good over all bed for price. There was a very strong chemical smell from inside the package. I think the manufacture treated the whole bed for insecticide. ... show more

For those who said this bed was difficult to assemble, my 16 year old assembled by himself. He had absolutely no issues with the instructions, screw holes/alignment. He said this was way easier than all of the ikea furniture he has built for us. Looks beautiful. Packaged well and as another review said the box is very heavy, like 140 pounds, and I needed to unload piece by piece. Would recommend this bed. ... show more

Beautiful bed, but whoever placed the holes for screws did a terrible job. We wasted hours in our new home, tired, at midnight trying to make it work. My husband was going to drill new holes just so we could sleep, but the cheap wood began to split. Glad we were able to get our money back.

This bed is gorgeous and exactly what i was looking for. Comes in a large box (140lbs) as an FYI. Had to open the box up and carry it up the stairs piece by piece. It was packaged very well and even though the outside of the box had a dent, the bed wasn't damaged at all. I put this thing together on my own within 2 hours. It was a little hard to get it all together without help but possible. It is nice and sturdy and fits my new 14 inch mattress PERFECTLY. This looks like a much more expensive bed. I've shopped around a LOT and glad I decided to take a shot ordering this one. If you are on the fence about it, just do it! You will not be disapointed. ... show more
