These curtains are beautiful! Amazing value for the money! The fabric is soft and thick and the quality is definitely far better than the price point. They immediately blocked out the little bit of sun that was coming in and they aren't even fully closed. I was hesitant at first when purchasing blackout cuetains because I have bought before and they always let heat and light in. I live in Florida where today is currently 105°f outside (40.56c) and my house was getting insanely hot and my electric bill was close to $500 last month. I needed to do something so I started looking around on Amazon for something that would help keep it cool but also match my house. I've lived in mostly modern, white & gray houses. This is my first rental home and it's very brown. I wanted to find something that could/would compliment that. I bought 3 of the Cappuccino color, as it's a light brown. It goes perfectly and is not too bold, which I absolutely love. I also bought one in beige, I'm adjusting to it, but I'm not a beige kind of girl. I like the blues, grays, and whites. I measured each window and slider door to make sure we had enough to cover the bottom but not have too much overhang that we'd trip and the length was absokutely fabulous. The fabric is super soft and lightweight that I was able to hang them on the tension rods I bought to accompany these blackout curtains. My AC hasn't been struggling as much in these last few days and even with full daylight being blasted at the beige and brown curtains, you can see it's keeping most of it out. It's also keeping the UV rays and heat out as well. I put a pair in my bedroom as well and I honestly havent slept as hard as I did last night in a very long time. 10/10 would recommend and would also buy again if the need ever rises. ... show more

You cannot see through these, even outside at night with full lights inside. The only reason this rating is 4 stars is for the misleading advertising stating these are insulated. They are absolutely NOT INSULATED. They are medium weight ply/piece of polyester fabric. They are one layer, meaning the only place there is two layers is by the hems. I’ve ordered these same drapes in different colors all 3 times that we have moved. The quality is always the same which is great, they are 99.9% blackout. They are a tad wrinkled upon arrival but the wrinkles are not deep and steam out beautifully. Highly recommend.

Pictures are at 6am with direct sunlight which would beam through the entire house. There is some very subtle sunlight that comes through, which I didn’t mind. By 9-10am when the sun wasn’t blasting through those windows, it was quite dark in the room. My living space is completely open with 5 windows on both sides, which I love. It’s very hard to control the temperature in the summers though, and these have helped tremendously to regulate and keep the space cool(er) for longer. Fabric is buttery soft, hung right out of the package and the fold marks are barely noticeable. A quick stream while they’re hanging took care of that. I love the linen color. They would look better a bit longer, but this length is best between kids and dogs. I bought more for each room in the house. ... show more
