Great product for the money. Install not exactly easy with standard 3/8" compression valve.

I'm very happy with the product quality and the included features for the money. I have plumbing experience but still had problems with the install. My shutoff valve is 3/8" compression type that is soldered to the copper water line. This is a standard in the US. Neither of the included T's were comp
atible. I spent nearly two hours at the hardware store trying to locate adapters that would allow me to connect both the toilet and the bidet unit. In the end, I found it easier to purchase a different T and another Supply line in order to make all the connections. I also needed to remove the sediment screen inside the copper connection on the side of the bidet. This may prove to be an issue later on since sediment could clog the bidet's sprayer head. The materials cost me an additional $25 and two frustrating hours at the hardware store. Be aware that if your toilets supply line shutoff valve is 3/8's you will experience an install similar to mine. Connections are now made and the unit functions flawlessly. I am very pleased with this purchase, but could be far more satisfied if the correct parts were included! We would like a second unit for our guest bathroom but will plan for the additional expense and hardware store trip.

Great Bidet, with some Issues

Overall great first electronic bidet once you get it installed; coming from one without electricity or hot water, it's a good improvement. Difficult installation, small nuances. ll the snap-on mount first and foremost so that the seat can slide into it, so do not install it backwards with the raised plastic facing the toilet bowl, let the grooved part face the bowl and the raise plastic face the tank. Instructions do not show which way the arrow is supposed to point, so make sure the raised plastic on the screw mount is towards the tank basin. Props to the other review that said to screw the water-line into the toilet tank, not the waterline. You don't need an adapter if you do this. The water line to the seat has some strange plastic cover on it. You can remove this with a knife but don't damage the rubber water seal underneath the plastic cover. Tightening the quick-latch mount and screws took a lot of effort, almost stripped the screws just to make it tight enough not to slip. Watch the video review, it shows some sort of installation steps but the video does not show up on mobile, so pull out your laptop to check the steps. Pros: No leaks so far as a previous review mentioned, been using for 2 weeks. Heated seat is great, water is warm always but sometimes gets cooler than the initial first 10 seconds, then goes back to initial temp, so strange. Bidet option cleans properly, very soft pressure so perfect. Not a jet shooting into your rectum like my previous non-electric bidets were like. Has a feature to sway back and forth which is also great, so you don't need to boogy shake to get clean. Blue light works, turns on when the bathroom is dark (cannot turn off though) It shoots a short water burst after use, I'm assuming this is a self cleaning feature. Manual controls on the side in addition to the remote are great, one differentiator why I bought this one. Remote control and mount work great, no issues there. Negatives: Does not remember the settings you set last. So pressure, water temp, seat temp, everything is reset after a bit. Pain because you have to set everything again when using, clicking 5 buttons just to get the proper wash. Blue light cannot be turned off. It's bright so I'm blinded by my toilet in the middle of the night. Heated dry is such a gimmick, it just blows hot air that doesn't dry you unless you've already patted dry. It just blows hot air that exaggerates the smell unless you've flushed beforehand. Toilet seat bowl length can get very small. Meaning you may need to install this an inch or two past your regular seat, so you might make "contact" with the front of the toilet bowl if you're a man. Apologies in advance, but needed to note. Installation took me an hour, had to put my top hat on for this one. Was strenuous and confusing, instructions were of little use, video review was more useful. Overall a great bidet but so many caveats to work with. Aside from installation, Main one is the memory settings. It just resets each time you use it, so you have to click every button on the remote over and over again to achieve the perfect bidet, and manual controls don't remember the settings either. Would buy a different listing on amazon, but unsure if those would have the same issues. Still works fine and happy I upgraded to an electric bidet.

I've had this for a year now and having owned units like this before so I'd like to share a few notes: It resets to the basic settings every time, which means you have to fidget with the remote to get the setting you want each time. e. A warm seat during winter is nice. When you adjust the position of the nozzle, it doesn't make a difference. Move it forward or backward and no change is noticeable. That's a disappointment. The light is fluky. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, but that's not a deal breaker. Overall, I'd buy it again but really hope they work on saving settings and the movement of the sprayer.

Good cheap bidet with mod

Easy install, both settings were like laser beams pin point blasting, too sharp and would shoot way forward with it set all the way to the back. I took a 1/16th drill bit and opened the nozzle holes up diagonal backwards. Now it has a mellow more fanned out spray and shoots back far enough that I don
't have to sit all the way forward. Just wish the seat sensor wasn't so sensitive, if you move slightly it shuts off. Does not remember previous settings, but pretty easy/quick to adjust. Endless hot water, starts off shooting warm water right away, fan is aimed good and blows pretty good.

ted Amazon, who then put me in touch with this company's customer support, who then sent me a replacement remote (free of charge) even though it was due to our own negligence. I can't recommend this product enough. But please beware that the install process is NOT an easy one when it comes to finding the proper adapter for American toilets.

Overall, we are really impressed with this bidet seat! Had issues installing the seat using either of the two 3 way adapter tee connectors included with the bidet seat. First we went to the hardware store to find fittings/hoses to make it work sizewise, but had leaks regardless of using washers and t
eflon tape. So decided to follow advice in previous review and ordered the Tecmolog 3-way 3/8" and 1/2" 3 Way Adapter Tee Connector 3/8" Water Line T Fitting on Amazon for $12. Installation with the new adapter was a cinch to connect. Couldn't figure out how to open the back of the remote to install the batteries. Was afraid I might break it by prying it open, but that is what you need to do. Used a very thin knife to pry open at the top and worked my way around the edges with the knife and it was fine. The magnet holder with sticky backed tape provided is plenty strong to mount the remote on the sink cabinet. We've travelled multiple times in Japan and have used dozens of bidet toilets and seats, and this seat has good positioning for washing, is easy to use and all the functions work well. We purchased this for my elderly mother with Parkinson's who now needs assistance with toileting. She's very modest and is happy to have the spray wash assist her in keeping clean. The markings on the remote are too faint for her to use without glasses (which she doesn't have on during the night) so I wrote "F", "R" & "D" on dot stickers which I put over the main function buttons for Front, Rear and Dry. This seems to be working for her. The presets for the water flow and heat function fine for her without needing to be adjusted. The seat itself removes readily with the release button for easy cleaning. Note that if anyone needs to use grab bars to assist with standing after using the toilet, with this bidet seat you cannot use bars that install requiring it to be attached under the toilet seat (as most do.) I ordered the OasisSpace Stand Alone Toilet Safety Rail and while it seems it might not be stable, it works really well for my mom. We'll be ordering a second bidet for the powder room on the main floor as soon as we can tie into an electrical outlet on the other side of the wall.

Easy to install, minus the receptacle. (Plumbing connections 8 minutes tops.)

Wow. Always thought these were a good idea, but didn't like the entry price. You will more than make up for it in the cost of toilet paper. You will use 90% less, if you use it at all, and you will feel cleaner and more fresh. It takes a little more time, but you will feel shower fresh when done.

It's not perfect but I'm happy to have it

The magnet on the remote could be stronger, if you bump it most times it will fall to the floor. 3. There is no separate way to use the functions without the remote. 4. The remote used to allow me to move the bidet stream but it quite working (the rear function still works though and reaches better anyway) 5. You cannot have it pre-program positions/flow or temp, it always goes back to the center choices so you have to ajust every time, which I would think would wear things out faster. 6. There is no cleaning function where you close the lid and press a button and walk away while it cleans. 7. *stuff gets all over your porcelain bowl that needs to be cleaned... I don't know why I didn't consider that before my purchase. I think this covers it. Overall I'm happy I got it, but I don't doubt there are better bidets on market. This just happened to be one with many decent reviews and a price I was willing to pay, although it did take me a couple of years to finally purchase it. Now, I don't ever want to be without a bidet, especially at home.

A visit with a friend sold me on the bidet idea but I wasn’t putting out $$$ for Toto. Found this and read views. Install wasn’t terrible but read and watch reviews and videos first. How does it work? WE LOVE IT. My big, burly husband laughed at the idea but is 100% sold now!!
