It is very bad ! because it is suppose to be a outdoor bench but it got rusty after only 2 times raining ! Unbelievable! I wish I can give it no star ! The media could not be loaded. Very cute seating option for indoor or out. It is currently sitting in my foyer and blends well with our modern farmhouse decor. Very sturdy and spacious. The box is fairly heavy and large so you may need help getting it inside once delivered. My only complaint really is that it appears as if it’s been poked some how during shipping and the ‘L’ has a small dent in it. For me it doesn’t take away too much from the aesthetics of the bench. I didn’t want to mess with trying to exchange because it’s a large oversized item, and I had already assembled it. That along with the instructions being off are why I only gave it 4 stars. Tip: The instructions are off! Took a lot longer to assemble than it should have because the directions aren’t accurate. Not a huge deal but to save you having to un-assemble and start over like we did. If it says ‘left’ it is not your left as you are standing while you assemble. It means left as if you are sitting on the bench (so yes, left means right). I find the patina is much prettier in person than the product images show. Excellent value for the money, this bench is well built and very solid it will last a long time. Would make a great option for a gift, housewarmings or even retirement! ... show more

The packaging was good and the bench looks good inside the house because that is the farthest it went, place where I tried to assemble it. The bolts for the back of the bench wont go in all the way since there is too much gap (see picture attached). I cant believe that it is not spec-ed out accurately. Disappointed that I will have to send it back. ... show more

UPDATE: I reached out to the company that actually makes this bench, Leigh Country. After reading multiple other reviews, the short backrest seems to be a reoccurring issue. I was advised to switch the leg pieces. This worked. The back piece fits perfect. So if you run into this problem, try flip flopping the legs. Beautiful chair! Recommend buying a cushion for it as well. Had this bench actually fit together and not have dents in it, it would have received 5 stars. The back piece is short by about two inches making it impossible to attach to the legs pieces. Very disappointing. And of course it's heavy and will be a pain to return. Ugh. ... show more

Very sturdy and easy to put together. Just one thing is odd. The instructions show the bench for the front. The sides are labeled right and left. HOWEVER, they have the right side labeled left and the left labeled right. Didn't look close enough in the beginning and assumed (!) that the right arms/legs went on the right side. Absolutely will not fit that way! Quick look at the instructions, changed it around and everything fit perfectly! ... show more

Pre-assembled parts had 2 stripped screws out of 10, which makes the "Welcome" sign attached to the back frame flimsy and prone to early failure (see photos). This bench came defective right out of the box. Upon closer inspection, these are just cheap, self-tapping screws that don't have enough thread pitch for metal-to-metal applications. ALSO, the wrenches in the hardware kit were the wrong size. Neither of the 2 wrenches provided fit any of the bolt heads or nuts. So I got out my own tools, only to discover that 4 of the bolts are 10mm, but the other 4 bolts are some strange size from Mars or something. These oddball bolts would not take a 10mm wrench, and 11mm was too loose. So then I tried SAE and the same thing happened - one size was too small and the next size up was too loose. So I ended up using a crescent wrench and pliers for these extraterrestrial-sized piece-of-junk bolts. ALSO, we have a different park bench (from Amazon) that is made well and assembled together very nicely. We love that bench, but this bench is going straight back to the factory where it came from. We should have read the other 1-star reviews before purchasing, which warn buyers of poor quality and rusting quickly. ... show more

    • Just don't do it! If you do buy the bench, be forewarned
The holes on the sides didn't match up to the seat so putting this bench together was a real pain in the butt. The back is too short and doesn't properly fit. We had to drill new holes to be able to assemble it and once both sides were on we had to find our own screws, that are extra long, to attach the back. Uhg! Whoever designed this thing should get a different job! We're not happy with this product 😔 ... show more
