sing these was very simple. I just had to connect the receiver, switch on the microphone and attach it to my shirt. No need to adjust anything on my phone, it was ready to go. It only has one switch to turn it on or off. There is also a tiny light that shows if it is working. I began to record videos and checked the sound quality, which was crisp and had a good noise reduction of the ambient sound. I activated the second mic and gave it to my girlfriend who was in another room. Her voice was clear and there was no interference at all when we were close or far from each other, both of us sounded great. It does what it says! I also experimented with the distance of these mics. I left my phone recording on the opposite side of my house (suburbs) upstairs. I went through all the rooms upstairs and then went downstairs, into my garage and out to the street where I chatted with my neighbor and then walked around my backyard and then finally came back to the house and upstairs to finish the test. RESULTS: The sound was clear when I was within range, it captured some of my conversation with my neighbor outside more than 50 feet away, and it lost the signal completely when I was out of range for 30 seconds. The cool thing was that when I returned to range it automatically reconnected and my voice was recorded for the rest of the time until I stopped the test. I’m very very very happy with how cheap this microphone kit is. I was filming some automotive repair videos for YouTube on GoPro, and the camera and audio quality was total crap. THEN I switched to multiple kinds of audio recording apps and equipment and using the GoPro, that still sucked, and I had to try to sync the audio. THEN I switched to using my newer iPhone for everything, and the quality was great… unless I walked 5’ away and you heard nothing. I didn’t want to spend hundreds on the wireless microphones that a lot of YouTubers use and then still have to sync the audio and have this bulking heavy thing hanging off my shirt. These were the answer to all my problems. No App, not bulking and heavy, turn key out of the box, also the audio is written onto the video file so I don’t have to sync anything, the quality is good, range is good, and they even have a charging port on the side of the receiver that plugs into the phone charging port, so you can use this AND charge your phone which was a major thing for me while doing Timelapse’s in the sun and filming would just nuke my battery life to less than an hour. Overall I’d say it is absolutely worth buying and the packaging I’ll just probably throw them in a small foam container from harbor freight along with some other stuff like gimbals etc. ... show more
