Awesome lights! I used these to replace two old halide fixtures and these are so far superior in both quality and quantity of light. The output is better than anticipated and the diffusers spread the light very nicely. Now, here is the information I would have liked to have when I was waffling about taking a chance on these lights; I have a parking lot in front of my building that is 100' long and 50' deep. I have the lights mounted 12' from the ground, 35' apart spaced equally on the building which is 85' long and approximately centered on the parking lot. The light along the whole width of the building is excellent out to about 35' where it starts to fall off but by no means is it inadequate. In fact, I walked across the street and I was still casting a very distinct shadow. Because I was replacing existing fixtures, the placement of the lights is not optimal. If I was doing a new install, I would put them higher up but this is only to further maximize the amount of light distribution. They are more than adequate for the space I have. In the photos; the wide angle is standing across a four-lane street from the building. The other is standing at one extreme end of the parking lot. The only downside I found with the lights is the change over from one type to this one. The ballasts in these fixtures are placed in a poor location for getting power into the back of the housing. Again, I am dealing with a retrofit not a new install. Also, the wires that go from the ballasts to the LED array have no plug or other way to disconnect them. It would have been much, much easier to install the housing on the side of my building if I could have removed the cover completely which you cant unless you cut the wires. I was also disappointed to find that they did not include the "dawn to dusk" sensor as the listing says. I bought photocell switches at Lowes for a few bucks and put them in. ... show more

We installed one of these on each side of the main entrance for the new location of our Shirtzz.com T-Shirt Shop. They are EXTREMELY bright! See the attached photos for BEFORE (dark) and AFTER (brightly lit). The photos were taken about 60-feet away and my phone camera isn't that great, so in reality everything is actually MUCH brighter. These are well-made and can definitely stand up to wet weather... as they were severely tested in drenching downpours/storms several times in the first week after installation. The beam of light actually bounces off the white brick wall of another building about 70 feet away from us and floods the area in front of our store with tons of light which makes it a safer environment for our shoppers who shop and pickup their orders after it is dark. We are so glad we chose this particular brand as they were even better than we were expecting/hoping. One thing to mention is that the LED lights we bought did not include the photocell cell sensors for dusk-to-dawn operation which we purchased separately. Wow, I am very impressed with the light output of this fixture! I wanted something bright for the drive/back yard, so I upgraded to this unit from an older Cerion 40 Watt wall pack. The 40 Watt unit was sufficient, but we wanted something a little brighter. So I opted for this 120 Watt pack.... Big Mistake! I'm here today to purchase a 60 watt unit to replace this 120W bad boy because the 120W is just too freaking bright. Good problem to have, but my yard (without any street lights) is just about as bright as Noon during the day. My neighbors do not appreciate it at all... Oh well... Nice work LEDMO - Quality unit, super bright and affordable. Will purchase the slightly less powerful unit today. ... show more

    • Good value, but poor quality control

These are very bright. The real test will take time to see if they last. There are two glaring problems that make installation a big problem. The biggest issue is that there are no quick disconnects to separate the two pieces during installation. The instructions specifically tell you to unplug the quick disconnects when mounting the back, but there are no disconnects. It’s all hardwired. Someone had to have made a conscious decision to ship them this way knowing full well that it would make installation extremely difficult and render the instructions confusing. This is at best indifference toward the customer and at worst contempt. If this were my company someone would lose their job for doing this. The second issue is much smaller. The two screws that secure the front to the back require an Allen wrench to tighten them. One screw is easily reachable, but the other is positioned so as to need an extremely long Allen wrench. I purchased the longest one I could find and it still wasn’t long enough. It would have been so easy for them to use more standard Phillip head screws. Again, it demonstrates that someone didn’t give thought to what the customer would experience. ... show more
