I love the variety in this deck. It fleshes out the base factions even more and encourages everyone to craft card more, which is not the case with the base deck. IMO this expansion is a must buy for fans of Root.

A substitute for the original deck of cards , not a must to have but will give a very interesting play style to the game. I liked it a lot but would still use the old one from time to time . it contains lots of crafted cards that let you take advantage of other faction abilities .

This is the first expansion you should purchase for Root once you have played it a handful of times. This deck completely replaces the deck that comes with the base game. These cards are much more interesting and give you more options for creative play.

Do you feel like the original deck of cards have many cards that doesn’t inspire you to build them? Well, with this deck almost every card is good, like REALLY GOOD. If you want to add more complexity and decision to your game of Root, this will be a permanent addition.
