Why did I buy this? I bought this because whoever designed my kitchen was an idiot. The ceiling light is in the middle of the ceiling, so when I stand at the sink, my body casts a shadow over my sink. I have no way of putting a light over the sink since there is nowhere to put one, and my counter space is so limited; the kitchen is so tiny that I can't put a lamp in. What does that lead to? It leads to not being able to see my dishes when I'm cleaning them, and they sometimes have food left on them that I don't find until I'm putting them away. That's gross, dangerous, and time-consuming because I have to rewash them; there is no dishwasher in my home except the human ones. I was on Facebook, and there was a picture of a woman doing her dishes with a regular headlamp on as her power had gone out because of hurricane Ian. There was my solution, a headlamp! But I didn't want anything big and bulky. This headlamp is great because it has several modes. My favorite is the little lamp on the side that shines a spotlight where ever I move my head. The light that goes across your forehead has a few modes, but I don't use it because it tends to make my forehead warm, and when you're in a hot kitchen on a hot summer night, you don't want anything else that's hot. I like that it expands to whatever size you need. I also like that I can fold it and put it in a drawer when I'm not doing dishes. Seriously, for my kitchen's horrible configuration, this little headlamp is a godsend. Clean dishes! No more blindly hunting for things in the back of the cabinet. Let there be light! I really like this headlamp. It's super bright, compact, rechargeable, has a couple different lighting modes, and it's comfortable. I also like the hands-free mode where you can turn it on and off with the wave of your hand (Perfect if you are working on something and have dirty hands) And it is comfortable! I like that it does not have a heavy lamp suspended from the front that can get in the way if you are working in tight areas. Sure, those designs let you swivel the lamp to aim the light where you want to look, but this unit's light bar is so bright, it's really a non-issue. Recommend 100% ... show more

Bought this for pre-dawn jogs and night time dog walks and it is great for both. It's never died on my while out, I just notice the power is red when taking it off and charge for next time. The high beams are very bright, so I usually use on the still quite bright dimmer settings. I would definitely recommend this. I have the gray one with the wide light across the forehead and the 2nd light on the right side. ... show more

As i've been using it, i notice the floodlight strip seems to dim on its own, but comes back if you turn it off & back on. Battery life isn't great, but adequate. It lacks a battery condition indicator, but has 2 leds that are not explained in the minimal instructions.

I kinda ordered this on a lark. I'm restoring a 1955 GMC 100 pickup and am currently doing the bodywork and paint on the stripped cab. I needed something that would help me see what the h3II I'm doing out in our garage, which TBH needs a lighting makeover. LOL This Pluralla works AMAZINGLY! It is very comfortable. I sometimes forget I'm wearing it. And on the high setting, the band of LEDs puts out an incredible amount of light. One of those "you really have to try it" sorta things, honestly. Value for money?
