This is my first LED Face Mask. It is lightweight, so comfortable to wear and very easy to use. I have this product about three weeks. It is showing me an improvement on my face and neck about my acnes problem. Even though it is an expensive product, but worth the price when I look at my face. I have skin problem for years and have tried all kind of skin care products to no vaild, until i got introduced to skin threapy lights. It's non invasive and safe to use, the light covers both face and neck area. I used it after fully cleaned my face. I'll admit that I went with this particular LED "mask" mostly for the aesthetics. It's definitely sleek and modern~ you can even keep it on the credenza in the dining room for a G-rated conversation piece. For the price, I was expecting it to be amazing. It was a slight impulse buy on Prime Day and I was excited to be saving $50 bucks on an expensive item that offers the potential to help me age gracefully. Alas, I was beyond disappointed. Let's get into it, shall we? For starters- it did not come with any instructions. Nada, zip, not even a clue. Now I'm a fairly intelligent human, but this is my first LED "mask" so a few pointers would have been nice. The small sensor ON/OFF button on the right side is SUPER touchy and inconsistent. It either turns on to red lights when you press it in just the right spot or you get a surprise fireworks display with all the various lights cycling thru. Don't get me wrong- it's a pretty show, but I'm confident that's not what should be happening while using this. Again- a little 2 pager would have been helpful. Even IKEA style would have been better than nothing. Let's move on to the comfort of this "mask". There is none. It's literally giving Hannibal Lector vibes and I'm just not into that. {There's a strap that snaps in place over the crown of the head and another that wraps around the back which is a whole heap of NOPE for me.} It's heavy, bulky and feels like a chunk of plastic because... it is. There's a small slit near the mouth opening so breathing calmly while wearing this "mask" isn't gonna happen for most of us, especially for anyone who has even a subtle cue of claustrophobia. This feels anxiety provoking vs relaxing. It should come as no surprise to know that the inside steams up because of this lack of air flow. Lastly, the eye guards are absurdly tight on my eyeball sockets. I can fully appreciate the vision protection but not at the expense of an insta migraine. In a nut shell: this is a "mask" that's a hybrid of Hannibal Lector meets Darth Vader with great potential for a mini LSD trip. If you have epilepsy- steer clear!! If you do not have epilepsy, also just steer clear!! 1,000% do NOT recommend this LED "mask". As cool as it may be to set on the credenza as a piece of alien cyborg "art", it's going back tomorrow. ... show more

25 years ago when the tanning salon I USED TO GO TO, carried one red light bed. Back then they were a huge rave with studies showing mainly such effects the bed had on sun damage after a Tanning bed. I know not too smart for consumer but highly lucrative for the owner. Basically paying to repair the damage stupidly had done..It did show studies on the entire body and face however focusing on the body as it’s entirety. Claimed one woman totally removed her stretch marks from birthing with a photo of having to look hard for stretch mark signs, Very impressive. Later they would come out with how it worked on all parts especially once selfies were introduced to the beauty industry. Now decades in the making it had become amplified to the face and neck. Being a medical Aesthetician you always want proof, not study’s. Not saying studies don’t hold a lot of weight in the beauty industry, however to have all three is the dream for everyone involved. The third being learning for oneself. No better proof for me; anyway. This mask I believe has a few great features that a few don’t. I bought mine a few years ago. It is the cream de la cream of LED Masks in my opinion and I’ve had a few people think it was this high tech complicated crazy looking alienated mask.I am so lucky to get this one. I thought after I bought it they would come out with a higher tech Mask for the Millennials. No that hasn’t been the case because it does not get any better than this one. HALO out did themselves and did not miss a beat !!! The price, the fit, the design,the engineering, the differentials , the spectacular looking design can not be matched. What an absolute amazing home care product. With the neck piece being an add on part , I could actually see HALO coming out with an attachment that covers the entire chest if they wanted. I am beyond happy I have no regrets and also look forward to learning of what this amazing company comes up with next. They really are above and beyond any other in my book.
