Recently took these little guys on a camping trip of 4 days, 3 nights. Bought a package of AAA by Energizer and set each one up with fresh batteries and placed them around camp. When the daylight was getting near dusk I would turn these on the low setting and let them go until it was time to go to bed for the evening. Each light was turned on and every one of them were still functioning on the first set of batteries installed. They seem to be nice lights that help light dark pathways in camp. The only thing I'm not a fan of is there blinking setting that is between the low and off settings. Seems needless for such a device. This wouldn't be my first choice for a rescue light where I'd expect or want that setting. ... show more

Love these for camping. Can pretty much use anywhere. Hung on trees, canopy, inside the tent, use them when walking around in the dark on out belt loops, use them to identify where the tent zipper is in the dark. Easy to pack, attach easily to the outside of a hiking pack. Highly recommend.

I bought these to go on a last minute camping trip with my son's Boy Scout troop. It was his first tent camping trip so I thought a light would be needed. They lit up the tent nicely on full light, and was a great nightlight on the lower setting. No clue why the strobe light was necessary but it is a feature. These are cute and fun to hang around camp. I really like the clip so I can hang them up in the tent for night lighting. They are cheap, and made from fairly thin plastic so I dont expect them to last a long time, but they all are working and none have broken yet.
