Bought this to use an on-the-fly laptop stand to get some work done between my Uber trips. For my use, I turn my steering wheel 180 deg for a better fit. My steering wheel adjusts up and down and telescopes in and out so, for me, I adjust my wheel and pull my seat back....works just fine. One thing to note, however, is that if you have a foam-padded steering wheel cover the tray may not fit. Having said that, though, I drive a newer Kia Forte with a padded cover and I am still able to secure the tray in place...rather snug...but it works. I Chose this brand over the other similar trays as the ratings seemed to be better. The price was just right. Haven't used it to eat a meal on, but my kids find it useful using it for a food tray whilst in the back seat. So far, I am pleased with the tray. ... show more

This is a fabulous invention!! I don't know why I didn't think about getting one of these sooner. I pick my son up from school everyday and, so I don't get stuck in the carline forever, I have to get there 45 minutes to an hour before school lets out to get in line. That leaves a lot of time for me to sit in the car waiting, so I bring my laptop and do work. I've always had trouble finding a comfortable position to sit in, so I am actually able to type well. This solves that problem!!! All I do is hook it onto the wheel and I'm good to go. I've tried it out in 3 of our cars, a BMW X5, Hyundai Elantra and Hyundai Kona, and it works great. It's made to fit a factory standard wheel, so if you have a steering wheel cover on it there's no guarantee it'll fit. If there isn't a cover on the steering wheel, you're good to go!! I'm impressed with how well manufactured this is. It's made from high quality ABS plastic that's very durable, yet lightweight. It's also sturdy enough to support my 13 inch MacBook Pro. I love that there are 2 different sides to it. One side has a flat indented surface and a cup holder for eating. The other side has a flat table that works perfectly for writing or sitting your laptop on and there's even a slot to hold your pencil. That's a handy little feature. The best part about this is how easy it is to store. It's slim, so it doesn't take up much space. I either put it under my seat or stick it in the pocket behind my seat. I bought this from Amazon Warehouse to save a few dollars though I think the condition either said "used: like new" or "used: very good," but honestly I'd rate the condition as "used: good" and mention cosmetic flaws like scratches and dusty. For the actual product, I do like the idea, however, it only fits level on my Toyota Camry 2007 WITHOUT a steering wheel cover. To take off and replace the cover took me way too long, that it turned this convenient food tray gadget into an inconvenience. So I had to decide what I value or want more: to keep my steering wheel cover or continue eating food on my lap. I chose the steering wheel cover. If there was a wider option of the food tray handles so I wouldn't have to compromise, that would be great! ... show more

    • Nice, sturdy plastic, but does not fit the Honda CRV steering wheel
By itself, it's a nice item. Heavy-duty plastic, slightly-textured to help prevent sliding. One side is more indented with the cup-holder, while the back side is pretty-flat for writing (which I wish wasn't textured). It turns out it doesn't fit the 2017 Honda CRV steering wheels; the steering wheels are a little too fat for the table to fit properly, and the steering wheel leather has gotten slightly damaged in the process. I'm still keeping it to use on my lap, and it has been helpful in that way. In my CRV, it just fits for storage between the center console and the front passenger seat. ... show more

I eat my lunch in my car at work every day. This is so helpful. It is a little tall for me, i could probably adjust the steering wheel so it sits lower but that's too much work. I like that i can rest my hand on it while holding my phone too. Very sturdy. I like that on one side there is a spot for a can of soda and on the other side there is a pencil holder. As someone who is always on the go and often eats in the car this is a game changer!! A little difficult to get onto the steering wheel but that is probably user error. Stays put on the steering wheel and is a great little table.
