This is a fabulous invention!! I don't know why I didn't think about getting one of these sooner. I pick my son up from school everyday and, so I don't get stuck in the carline forever, I have to get there 45 minutes to an hour before school lets out to get in line. That leaves a lot of time for me to sit in the car waiting, so I bring my laptop and do work. I've always had trouble finding a comfortable position to sit in, so I am actually able to type well. This solves that problem!!! All I do is hook it onto the wheel and I'm good to go. I've tried it out in 3 of our cars, a BMW X5, Hyundai Elantra and Hyundai Kona, and it works great. It's made to fit a factory standard wheel, so if you have a steering wheel cover on it there's no guarantee it'll fit. If there isn't a cover on the steering wheel, you're good to go!! I'm impressed with how well manufactured this is. It's made from high quality ABS plastic that's very durable, yet lightweight. It's also sturdy enough to support my 13 inch MacBook Pro. I love that there are 2 different sides to it. One side has a flat indented surface and a cup holder for eating. The other side has a flat table that works perfectly for writing or sitting your laptop on and there's even a slot to hold your pencil. That's a handy little feature. The best part about this is how easy it is to store. It's slim, so it doesn't take up much space. I either put it under my seat or stick it in the pocket behind my seat. It is a really great idea, but it is not designed to fit on a padded steering wheel. I have been able to make it work, but it is really tight.

Super easy to use and quite sturdy actually. If your car horn button is right in the center of your steering wheel, then this is for you. If your horn button extends from top to bottom like mine, you won't have much support as the tray will press against the horn. That happened to me and it scared the crap out of me lol. I'm not sure if I'll be able to use this, sadly. But I'll keep it just in case. ... show more

I eat my lunch in my car at work every day. This is so helpful. It is a little tall for me, i could probably adjust the steering wheel so it sits lower but that's too much work. I like that i can rest my hand on it while holding my phone too. Very sturdy. I like that on one side there is a spot for a can of soda and on the other side there is a pencil holder. Good quality sturdy material, manufacturer should cover inner touch points with steering wheel with silicone, otherwise it will scratch your lacquer on wooden steering wheels. I like to have a little coffee break while running errands on the weekend, and discovered in the past few years that it's nicer and quieter eating in my car than in a coffee shop. The only problem was the mess of dropping crumbs or spilling coffee on myself or the rest of the car. This tray solves that problem! It attaches nicely to the steering wheel of my Kia Soul after turning the wheel upside down. I do have to move my seat backwards to accommodate the tray but that's no big deal. I bought the version with a slot for my phone so I can read stuff while I eat. The tray is sturdy. The cup holder is a bit shallow but big enough for a large cup and still sturdy. I bought this from Amazon Warehouse to save a few dollars though I think the condition either said "used: like new" or "used: very good," but honestly I'd rate the condition as "used: good" and mention cosmetic flaws like scratches and dusty. For the actual product, I do like the idea, however, it only fits level on my Toyota Camry 2007 WITHOUT a steering wheel cover. To take off and replace the cover took me way too long, that it turned this convenient food tray gadget into an inconvenience. So I had to decide what I value or want more: to keep my steering wheel cover or continue eating food on my lap. I chose the steering wheel cover. If there was a wider option of the food tray handles so I wouldn't have to compromise, that would be great! ... show more
