I haven't been able to install yet. You'll need a ladder to install it and remove it with two people. Very dangerous for the older people to be on a ladder and pulling this thing. There's no way to get into the track. What if storm comes in and you have to retact the awning. You would be fighting the winds to remove it. I'm afraid of lossing my awning. Yeh buddy...this is the berries. No more 5 to 7 sun beat down on the porch of the trailer. Even cuts the rain too.Yet allows some breeze..Should have put one up years ago. Easy install and stow wit bag provided. Happy Campers here. 3yr warranty isn't bad either.

I just received this sun screen. Ordered the 9 x 7 foot for our 24 foot camper. I tried it out yesterday. It fits perfectly and absolutely provides a huge amount of relief from the afternoon sun. The shade it provides is not absolute but it dies cut the intensity of the sun to a comfortable level. Mounts to the front of the awning and to the camper. It comes with bracket meant to be screwed to the camper. I didn't want to drill into the camper so I used epoxy to mount the bracket. The only reason for 4 stars is due to the fact that I can't voich for durability due to just receiving it. The material seems strong and durable. Time will tell. This 9 x 7 side shade is well made and works very well to give some privacy, reduce the heat/glare from the sun, and to cut down on the wind. It is a screen so it doesn't block everything 100%. If the wind is too strong, you do have to take it down. We did not attach the clips to our RV but just use the provided bungee cords to attach it to the arm on our awning. ... show more

Goes on the rv awning easily. We were wondering if it would keep the heat off of our rv and mat and it worked like it said it would, what a difference. My husband said it feels like we added a room on. It helps block some of the lights from neighbors and the city. We did not test temperature but it was Noticeably cooler under the shadecover.
