This set comes with two mats. I say mats, because they are not really rugs. They are soft and yet easy enough to clean when you spill things on them. I have them in my kitchen which really helps with spilled liquid. They DO NOT go in the wash. You can clean them by hand by simply wiping them off. They are a little smaller then I expected. These mats look nice in my kitchen and are very easy to wipe clean. They are sliighty smaller than I would like and really don't provide enough support or cushion for someone who stands on thier feet all day cooking. They also had a chemical smell after unrolling that still lingers hours later.

I wouldn't classify this as a rug since it doesn't have any fabric-like material. Instead, it's a cushion with a plastic and textured added onto it. Using this in the kitchen is relieving, especially since I have recently developed plantar fasciitis on my right foot, and could stand without hunching over in pain. So far, it's pretty easy to clean as there aren't any areas that might have food lodged into the crack. When delivered, it comes rolled out, so I had to put something weighted onto the smaller "rug" to smooth it out since the roll can be consistant. Overall Good ... show more

These fit the area in front of my fridge and sink well. They’re more narrow than I expected. They are very comfortable to stand on, and definitely help with my foot pain. I knew I wanted a mat or a rug in front of my washer-dryer as clothes inevitably fall out and land on the ground. This is perfect for that application. The width is good and the color scheme is attractive. Being waterproof certainly doesn't hurt, although it is (as to be expected) a little plastic-y. Although to be honest, it's really not as bad as it could be. The second mat was a nice lagniappe and works well at the kitchen sink and to provide a little protection for and cushioning on the wood floors. The gray and white complement our white and stainless appliances and counters. (I was also a little surprised and pleased that my wife is satisfied with these additions.) These kitchen rugs are nice. The design on them is done well, and they look good in my kitchen. The black isn't quite as stark as I was expecting, but that's not a problem for me. These being the sizes they are they just seem a bit too narrow, and the half-inch thickness only provides minimal comfort and support. If the material was perhaps a bit more firm the thickness wouldn't be as much of an issue. But as it stands, if you are on it for any real amount of time it feels like your feet compress it all the way down, and it's not as supportive as I would like.
