I purchased several of these lanterns for emergencies. First impression was how light the product it is. This isn’t your traditional hefty spotlight with the massive battery. Despite the lightness, it feels sturdy. It’s surprisingly bright and I love the lights on the side (one red, one white) which could be used on the side of the road or while camping. Only qualm I have with the product is the charging cable, which is a outdated USB A to USB A cable. It would have been perfect if they used a micro USB and USB C cable since I have tons of those laying around. It’s lightweight and includes a shoulder sling for carrying hands-free. Two levels of brightness with the spotlight - bright, and blindingly bright. One side light provides broad area coverage, and a flashing red signal rounds out its versatility. I keep this light next to my bed for access in case of tornado warning at night necessitating a trip to the shelter, or loss of electricity in a storm. Love this super bright light. Has two setting for side flood lamp or front flashlight. It comes with a strap that has adjustable size. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because this light does not charge u less you use the USB cable it came with. I thought it was broken until I found the specific charging cable it came with and then charged up super quick. So make sure to always have that cable. Otherwise this light is awesome for camping. I bought three lanterns in November 2021, two were for gifts and one for me. Everyone loved the lights for camping, walking dogs, and enduring blackouts. The lights lasts over 5 hours of use on a charge. Recently one of the units had a problem keeping a charge when using high power. I notified the manufacturer of the problem and after a day or so of trying to find a fix they decided to send me a new unit. Within 24 hours I had the new unit. I've been using this light for about 3 months now. First time took it camping at South Point on the big island of Hawaii. I can assure you that without a moon, it's dark. The beam traveled far and was very bright. I also use it regularly on our North Kona coffee farm where it is also very dark sans moon. It's light weight, charges fairly quickly and more importantly, holds it's charge well. I would purchase this again. ... show more
