They sent me the crank handle and the attachment for my drill. But the drill attachment the first time I used it. I looked at it and it was already halfway broken. I could tell by the way that it looks at the brake. Otherwise, the lift is great. It's strong enough to lift my John Deere up. But it's really hard to crank it up by hand. Fairly easy to assemble and using it was great. I hated to lay on the ground to clean under mower but its necessary. I used the drill attachment for it only because i wasnt sure i would be strong enough to do it manually . But good value for ther money.

The front wheels on my Craftsman tractor are too far apart for this lift, and when I lifted from the rear, the tractor lifted straight up due to most of the weight being up front. To remedy, I simply used a cinch strap on the left side around the rear axle and under the lift to hold it down. I should have run the strap over the center bar that remains on the ground as I had to loosen it a bit as I raised the tractor. I used my drill to raise it faster and it worked great! When using the drill adapter you've got to be mindful when you're at the end of the threads on the lift or you could end up snapping the casting off with a powerful drill as some reviewers did. Be careful, and use a little common sense, and this lift works great! ... show more

Product was easy to assemble and all parts were delivered. Not sturdy as reported by others. I also used a jack stand to be safe. The adapter is made of cheap metal and broke lowering my machine down. I ended up using the hand crank after grinding out metal burs and paint. I have a Troy Bilt 42in. riding mower and needed this for 2 reasons; 1) make it easier to clean the mower after each cut, and 2) ease of removing and replacing blades, first to add mulching blades (bought the kit on Amazon, fit perfect, great price) then whenever I need to remove and sharpen the blades. Although I was a little skeptical at first, this worked out great! Love the attachment so that I can use my cordless drill, makes it super easy to raise and lower. Folds up and stores away nice, and seems like it will last. Used it 5 or 6 times over the last few months, and I do add a jack stand under the frame and a wheel block on the front tire when raised out of an abundance of caution, as I would with any product that jacks up a heavy machine, not because I'm worried specifically that this product will fail. ... show more
