I bought this jump start battery for my sedan sonata in the summer for the event that my car didn’t turn on one day and that day came in the autumn. I charged this battery the first day I got it and left it inside my car’s trunk since then. This battery was powerful enough to give enough charge to my car’s battery to move the car enough when the alternator was not working. I’ll recommend it to everyone who has a car. You never know when is your turn or when you can help someone without having to connect your car battery to another car. Also, it doesn’t take a lot of space compared to the long jumpstart cables. It can also charge phones and other devices, and the bonus is it has a light for night time use, or for safety situations - the light even strobes if need be. It can also save you money and time. I hooked the LATIT jumper and went to start the truck and it started immediately. You don’t need to wait for assistance to get to you, if you have this jumpstart battery is just a matter of minutes before you are back in the road. These small car jump starters are a marvel of new technology, and I absolutely love them. I mainly got it to jump some project vehicles and also to have it on hand in the event that I come across anyone strand on the road. This is my second one, the first one wasn't this brand, and sat in my car for over 2 years through heat and cold. Don't do that. I went to charge it before a road trip and it was dead. Couldn't charge. Clearly, these battery jumper starters need to be cycled and recharged periodically to stay fresh. So, I recommend on matter which one you get, make sure to cycle it and then recharge it. That way, it lasts longer. This is a great size and has jumped a strangers car at a gas station, twice. I love the flashlight feature. I love the size. My daily driver is a 2021 pickup truck, and I didn't expect the battery to die so quickly. I woke up to a dead battery before heading the 80+ miles back to civilization. I had a few slow-start situations the day before, but I didn't think much of it at the time. I'm really glad I had this thing in my truck. I connected it up to the battery, and the truck started right up. Took the power from 100% down to 62%, but the startup was instant.     • I was skeptical at first, but this jump starter is amazing!

So this jump starter put me through a roller coaster of emotions, and let me explain why. First, I opened it and saw that it came with a storage case for the brick and its cables. "Cool," I thought. It's always nice when a manufacturer includes a case to store away the stuff like this which will live in the trunk of the car. Without the case, I'd have to go find one myself so that the stuff doesn't get damaged driving around. Next, and this is where I was instantly worried, I go to press the Power button on the brick itself only to find out that nothing happened. The indicator lights which tell you how much charge is remaining on the jump starter did not activate at all when pressing the button. Not a single blip, nothing. The battery was dead as hell. So I read the instructions, and sure enough, it clearly states that the battery indicator lights should turn on when you press the button. I was immediately worried that I had received a dead and defective unit, but I thought to plug it in to charge just in case. So now we're plugged in, and things are still not looking good. For the first 10 minutes that it's plugged in, nothing happens. No charge indicator lights, not beeps, nothing. So now my stomach sinks and I REALLY think that it's a defective unit, but I get distracted and walk away from it for about half an hour. i go back to the still plugged in jump starter, and... IT IS CHARGING! So now I know that the indicator lights work, and that the unit will charge. It had just been deeply discharged before it was sent to me (for some strange and unknown reason). Already I am feeling better about the situation though, and so I let it charge for a couple of hours before coming back to it. I return after the couple of hours and the unit is still at 1 light. This immediately made my stomach drop again, and I'm thinking "Oh no, it IS defective." Undeterred, I leave it charging anyway to see what would happen. Well, I kid you not, it took a full TWELVE HOURS, that's right 12 hours, to fully charge. I thought this was insane and an unreasonable amount of time for a jump starter that was charging via a fast-charge USB C brick and cable. "Well, whatever." I thought. "It is charged, so might as well go try it out." Here is where it gets good. I just so happen to have cars with dead batteries all around me because they sit for months on end since nobody drives them. I go up to my first car, a Toyota Corolla, which had been sitting for about a year. I put the key in the ignition, and NOTHING happens. No beeps, chirps, lights, nothing. There are zero volts running through the system, it seems. I plug this jump starter into it, thinking "there's no way." but try the key anyway. The car turns on IMMEDIATELY, without stuttering, without cranking, literally zero nonsense and it's up and running within one second. I was very impressed, and decided that I would be putting the jump starter through the gauntlet to see just how good it was. As soon as I started the Toyota, I went to a diesel truck which has a bad battery, and also doesn't give any charge when inserting the key. Now, starting diesels is a bit more intense than starting a regular gas car, mainly because there are no spark plugs, it's a compression based system, glow plugs, yadda-yadda, the main takeaway is that most jump starters don't cut it. Same procedure, I plug the starter to the jumping leads (not even close to the battery which is under the seat), and the truck starts RIGHT UP. Again, no stutter, no cranking, just from zero to GO! in an instant. I check the charge on the starter and it still reads full. At this point I decide to try it on a third car, a German sports car which was sitting for 6 months, and likewise had absolutely no charge. Believe it or not, it started up that car just as fast as it did the other two. However, at this point the battery indicator on the jump starter lost one light, letting me know it was at about 80% charge left. So this jump starter is truly incredible. It started 2 cars and a big diesel truck, for a total of 3 vehicles, while only using about 20% of its total charge. This explains why it took 12 hours to charge the brick, because it holds a ton of capacity. I went and recharged it after jumping the 3 cars, and now it sits comfortably in my emergency pack in the trunk of my daily driver. I have bought other jump starters for the same price as this, which fared exceedingly worse than this one. I will never buy another jump starter that isn't this one, barring that this one fails on me prematurely - in which case I will notify everyone if that happens. However, I have never seen a tiny brick like this be able to jump THREE cars all in one go, and most can't even jump start my diesel. I had bought one specifically for the diesel, and it was too weak at full charge. So I am impressed, and I am now a loyal customer of whoever is selling this jump starter. I wish they had included a USB-A port on this in addition to the single USB-C. There are simply too many devices still around that are USB-A only. Yes, adapters are available, but looking for a tiny piece of plastic when you are already tired/frustrated/wet-from-rain or the like, is really really inconvenient. When initially charging it up I had the power plug running through a volt meter. The charging continued a full hour past when all five charging status LEDs became illuminated. Seller did respond quickly to questions I asked, so that is a positive sign for good customer service should I need it. I didn't have a completely dead car battery to try this one, but I did have one that was weak, and with this hooked up it worked fine. ... show more
