My laser cutter has a small pump for air already, but this REALLY blows away the extra debris from my projects. Yes, it is fairly loud, but not so much that I need earplugs. For the price, it's pretty good. A bit spendy, though.

Great alternative to Xtool D1 air assist module, it actually looks identical to it so I won't be surprised if it is exactly the same pump. It costs less then Xtool one so I would not hesitate to recommend it as a great alternative that provides the same function but at lower costs.

***UPDATE*** Company's customer service reached out after I posted my review. I explained the whole situation and worked to trouble-shoot the first machine. They immediately shipped a new machine. It did arrive (I haven't had a chance to open it due to being out of town). While I appreciate the company’s eventual response and the replacement product, I am disappointed that it took a negative review to get their attention. Customer service should be more accessible and responsive from the start. I hope moving forwards, this will be the case. No support. Machine did not work properly from the beginning. I emailed the company support on the website. I emailed through Amazon. I called Amazon and asked them to connect me. They told me they could not help me because they were not able to connect with Laser Tree. I received this machine and really wanted this machine to work. Got it set up, ready to do power/cutting tests and ... The machine quit 30 sec into a job. I purchased a new a/b cable. (Someone on Reddit had said that was their issue.) Didn't help. Homing was a noisy nightmare. Checked the software. I followed all the trouble shooting on the website. I searched forums on Reddit. I came back to Amazon and tried to contact Laser Tree for help. No response. The product listing had been removed. It was not back on until AFTER the return by date so I could do nothing to get any help. I am not new to lasers. I have several including CO2 and diodes. I have 3d printers and CNC. I troubleshoot all the time. I am not a beginner user. I use Lightburn software for my lasers. $$ down the drain with a non-working machine sitting here. I want a new machine or my money back. Contact me for more info. ... show more

I ordered this because the air assist that came with my laser did not have an on/off switch, so when I was working with powder inlays, it would blow it around. I would have to go to the trouble of unplugging it or I would have to order a switch and then go to the trouble of wiring it in, so I just ordered this instead… and I’m glad that I did, because this is great unit at a good price point! I wish that it came with a little longer hose, but that doesn’t bother me because I’m stocked up on hoses. I would definitely order this again without hesitation. ... show more
