Will not work on certain models of xtool and they know it. They said they will send the parts to make it work. Waited almost three weeks and got the wrong parts. They then wanted $40 for the parts which would have taken another week which would have put me out of the return window. I returned it.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this to upgrade my 5.5w sculpfun s9 after being frustrated with it. No special modification needed, it bolted right on. It did need two longer m6 to bolt the adapter plate to that carriage, i had two laying around. This laser cuts very well and deep. I use shop air between 20-40 psi for my air assist and it cleans the cut awesome. Plywood doesn’t cut well due to glue and different woods types. Etched steel. Doesn’t etch aluminum. I purchased the k30 30 watt laser for my Ortur LM3 with the assurance from Laser Tree that it was compatible. It arrived and I set it up according to their You Tube videos. It comes with the laser and a new controller board and power supply along with the supposidly necessar cables to integrate with the LM3 - basic plug and play. The LM3 receives signals from the computer and controls the movement of the laser while the new board, attached to the LM3 receives the information from LIght Burn and controls the K30. The problem is that when I powered up the K30, it immediately without any attachement to the computer, started the laser at what appears to be full power. It burned a whole in the table top as I didn't expect it to fire the laser. I contacted customer support and they just sent me video on the connections which I had correct all along. When it didn't work, I again contacted customer support and for days received no communication. Finally Lilily contacted me and offered to replace the control board and cables. I did so, and no change - same problem. Where it was obvious that this would not work I politely asked for a refund and allow me to return the device. No answer - NONE!!! Not an Okay or a denial - just no communication. I am left with a nearly $600 brick. I can't use it. They won't honor their "money back guarantee". Thus I'm left with no recourse. I purchased from Ortur their 20W laser upgrade ($500+) and installed it as directed and it works very well. No problems - worked right out of the box. Laser Tree - I CAN NOT recommend. ... show more
