I was very sceptical about this device - i dont feel like paying the money to go get my legs professionally done , so i thought i d give this machine a chance. there were so many great reviews, so amoung many devices i decided on this one. i had it for a few months now and here are the highlights ( i have never used anything like this before, so its all new to me). 1. many reviewers complined about the heat/zapping feeling when they ised the divice of high setting - i didnt notice anything like that. at first. I have to say, its weird to use a device when you dont feel that i works, you know? am i doing it right? is it doing anything at all? when i havent felt any sensation on my legs on the highest setting, i thought i didnt do it right. but i kept using it about twice a week, sometimes less. now i started to do a bikini line and the heat and zapping is definitely there! so i am using it on a bit of a lower setting and with a cool function. 2. results. i didnt know how to measure results, so i decided to use it only on one leg and see if ther eis a difference. i am not sure that the pictures do it justice but this thing DOES work. (left - treated, right- untreated) after using it about... 8 times i see that the amount of hairs on my legs is definitely different. they are the same coarseness and grow with the same speed, just the amount of "active" follicules is much lower. i d say, i have now about 75% of hair than before. so its not immediate but after 8-10 uses the difference is obvious. i d imagine it will take longer to get rid of the rest of the hairs, but even this results is great and if it goes to 50% i ll call it a success! so the bottom line is - it works, it just takes time. and it was hard for me to agree to because of the 30 days return policy. but the company says they have their own extended return if you need it. good luck! ... show more

I bought this after a ton of research. I have never done at home laser hair removal and I was super scared to try it, but when I saw this one with the cooling feature (literally the only one I could find!) I decided to go for it. I have been using it consistently twice a week for a month now and I am definitely seeing results. Hair growth has slowed a lot and it is coming in thinner now on my legs. I am also seeing a difference in my bikini area and lip and face. But the armpits have been a disappointment so far. I don’t see a single change. I will keep trying, but so far, it isn’t working for me. I love the auto mode and cooling, I use both for almost all of my treatment areas except face and bikini. It’s small and compact, but the shape could be better. It’s a bit wide for smaller hands and you have to be careful not to cover the vent or it will overheat. Does it hurt? No! It does get hot and the cold plates get super cold, almost to the point you could imagine pain. But it doesn’t hurt at all and I’m a wuss! I use the highest setting (5) and only feel a little itchy, almost like razor burn on my legs only and I put some aloe Vera gel on after each treatment and it goes away! I definitely recommend if you are looking at a cheaper at home option. Just know it will take time and commitment, twice a week isn’t easy! ... show more

I eased in, starting on the lowest setting because I was afraid it would hurt. It didn’t — feels like pressing a very cold or warm spoon to your skin. I quickly progressed to the highest setting, and it is still comfortable. I have used this 3x a week, for several months. My leg hair (already thin, thanks to perimenopause) is mostly gone. I can go 1-2 weeks without shaving. Armpits are a whole other animal. I suppose it’s because the hair is coarser and more difficult to remove. My armpits received the same amount of treatment as my legs, yet the hair is still as thick. It might be a little patchy, but the results definitely aren’t as drastic as my legs. I’m still happy with the device — the results on my legs are still great. I’m down to once a week, maybe every other, to maintain. ... show more

Update: it took about a month, but my hair growth slowed down and it was working. Then I forgot to use it for a couple of weeks and hair growth started to return. So, it has been working on me. Shaving right before use is very important, to keep the machine from zapping too much of a hair follicle and possibly causing pain. It zapped me once in my armpit because of a hair that was exposed more. I bought this after seeing ads every day on the clock social media app for a certain brand that charges way more ($200-300) for what looks to be the same thing. I bought this while it was on sale with a coupon for $35 off so it was a great deal at $75 before tax. I've used it for two weeks so far and I like it. I turned it up to level 3 today and used the cooling feature, which helped to keep the surface cool for use. I didnt need it on the lower levels and I may not have needed it for level 3 as it didnt get that hot. It heats up over time as you leave it on. I've only tried it on my legs and underarms so far. My arm hair is too light, I think, for it to work. But my leg hair comes in darker. Make sure you refer to the chart to determine if this device will work for your skin tone and hair color. I will update with results after 8 weeks if I can remember. I'll also be trying it on my husband's back hair to see if we can eliminate it. He doesn't have much, but I end up shaving it every two weeks when we cut his hair. If you buy this, remember to put lotion on your skin after treatments to protect it! ... show more
