It operates faster and more smoothly than some other models in the same price point. The engraving speed is also impressive—projects that would take an hour on other machines are completed in half the time. It’s not just fast but efficient, leaving clean cuts and smooth edges. The worse. I gave it one star because I have to choose otherwise it does not let me post this. Horrible, horrible. Does not work, does not connect, it almost causes a fire. Engraving on leather, forger about it, it burns it out badly even after following the parameter for the leather. We spent HOURS trying to get this to run. Researched and researched to find that others had issues as well. After trying all day, we looked at the meta data on the jump drive provided and discovered that there was no exe file, which is necessary to operate the machine. Unfortunately, we are 5 days past the window of returning to Amazon, and will have to try to deal with the company itself. Nightmare trying to get this to run and we are more computer literate than most! ... show more

Works great! It DOES require some patience to put it together and get it connected, but when I had a question I emailed customer service and they promptly answered. Once I got it up and running, I found that it worked really well. I've created several projects and I'm having fun learning the programs. Had no issue connecting to either GRBL or Lightburn. There's definitely a learning curve as to how to set the laser but it's not that difficult and I've had great results. ... show more
