I use an Elegoo Phecda 20w laser. This case fits it perfectly and functions very well. My only complaint is the lack of compliance standards for the orange window. I do no know how safe it really is.

There was not a lot of detail on how to put it together, but I found I did not really need that much detail. There was instructions on the important parts like which pole goes where. The rest was to me pretty self-explanatory. The insides are reflective, you may not need a protective sheet, but I put mine back in as I did not want to test it and potentially ruin the enclosure if I was wrong. My engraver fit nicely with room to spare. I don't think I can do a tumbler/rotary engraving in there as I think I would run out of height. But I have yet to try as it is not something I really do. The fan has a goof pull, the tinted window may potentially help shield eyes, but I don't know how to know for sure without risking injury. I am going to continue to wear safety glasses. I appreciate the pocket on the side. I am using it to hold the pieces that help hold the piece in place that I am working on. This works really well. It has a decently strong fan to pull out the fumes and smoke. It is sturdy and seems like it will last. The area is pretty big and allows for much maneuvering, the Opening can be unzipped for full accessibility. This is a really great product! The tinted plastic windows are helpful, but I don't really know how much visual protection they give. Also, as you can see in my pictures, they are a bit wrinkled, and hard to see what is going on clearly. I think this will work itself out eventually, but for now, it is an annoyance. I need to keep it unzipped and open while I center and set up my project. Sometimes even at the beginning of the cut/engraving, but once I know it is working I can close things up and let it complete. ... show more

I'm a hobbyist, so I don't have a workshop with lots of space or a massive dust/filtration system. What I do have is a laser engraver, and a desire to use it more often. Usually, that means opening the windows and turning on a fan, to keep the dust from accumulating and the smell from circulating around. This enclosure helps change things. It assembled like putting together a tent, and the tight fit of the parts makes it relatively sturdy considering its lightweight construction. It has an LED light, fan, and duct (the light and fan run via USB), and the front and top zip open for access inside. It holds my system well, and with the velcro attachments it can be easily removed and disassembled for moving or storage. For my home use, this seems like a great addition to my engraver and is helping keep the area cleaner. ... show more

I had originally bought a different "universal" cover for my laser engraver, but it was WAY too big and took up my entire workbench. This is way more manageable for my engraver (15.7" x 15.7" bed size. Fan seems to work good, I need to pick up a longer vent house to reach all the way out of the garage. The media could not be loaded. ... it does a great job of keeping dust off your laser, and harmful fumes away from you. The simple instructions point you in the right direction. Although, it's a little unclear how the fan connects, but obviously you just figure it out. You get an exhaust flange for the 3" duct that attaches to the enclosure, but it would have been nice to have one for the other end too. Overall, this is a well designed "tent" with appropriate wire ports and pockets for your average sized diode laser. However, it's not as good as a solid enclosure would be for loading and unloading parts. Because it's so lightweight and the laser is also lightweight, I find that zipping and unzipping tends to shift the laser around on the table. I'm considering now how to tie this down to the table so that it doesn't shift every time. I'll figure something out. Despite this, the alternative of buying or making an enclosure would be more costly or time consuming, so this is a good and quick solution that I'm very happy with. ... show more
