The included tape/velcro can be reused, but not if it is attached to a hotel window. Great for home use, or if you will replace the window-side velcro for each use (and clean the tape off the hotel window when done). They are true, 100% blackout which can be helpful for long summer days/short nights. I got them to block out heat and the silver out/back side it perfect for that. Great in my East and West windows to keep my rooms cooler when the sun is making blazing hot days. ... show more

I know a completely black picture seems pointless but that is literally how dark my room was with this covering the window. There is a street light right outside my window that made it hard to sleep and this came to the rescue. The velcro strips were easy to install however when pulling the shade down during the day I have to be careful or the entire strip will come off the window. For temporary locations this could be a good thing but I will probably try to figure out a way to more permanently attach the velcro to my window ... show more

I live in a high rise with 75 inch windows and I needed something temporary until I get my new blinds and I was amazed that the first the measurements were accurate, then that it was big enough for the window. I actually had to cut a small piece off so it didn't cover the air conditioner/ heat! It's so versatile I cut holes and hung it from the old brackets. Looks way better than plastic garbage bags. I needed to black out two windows. I was able to cut them in a precision cut to fit my windows. I had no issues cutting them. It was more of a pain getting the correct measurements. The sun no longer brings in all the unwanted heat in or the bright light. These are so easy to put up with the adhesive tape and just as easy to take down. Will buy again! ... show more
