I looked at a lot of retro clocks and absolutely LOVE this one that's easy to see across the room, and absolutely beautiful! No ticking like my old one; completely silent. It's well made but the only thing I DON'T like is that the face and hands are completely exposed so that they're vulnerable to dirt/dust/grease near my kitchen, and even fingerprints when you're handling it to change batteries, etc. That's a small price to pay for a clock that I love looking at. So far, it's been very accurate and I thought it was a very fair price for such a large item. Came carefully packed in styrofoam with a spare set of (silver) hands, wall anchor and screw. I prefer the black that were already installed on the clock. One other thing to note is that the head of the large nail that was already where I wanted to put this was too big to fit into the metal hanger that's welded to the clock, so I had to make a wire loop to hang it. Not a big deal, but it would have been better to have a larger hole in such a big clock. I was shocked that it is VERY light! The metal rays are hollow. Love it!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the HAOWANJP Modern Wall Clock in the 24-inch size, and I must say that I am extremely impressed with this product. The first thing that caught my eye was the unique starburst mid-century design, which looks absolutely stunning on my living room wall. The blue color also adds a nice pop of color to the room and complements my decor perfectly. One of the best things about this clock is that it is completely silent and non-ticking, which is a huge plus for me as I am easily distracted by ticking sounds. The clock is also easy to set up and comes with clear instructions on how to do so. I had it up and running in no time. In terms of functionality, this clock is highly accurate and keeps perfect time. I haven't had to adjust it at all since setting it up, which is a testament to its quality. The large size is also great for visibility from across the room, which is perfect for me as I have a large living room. The media could not be loaded. I got this to gift to my friend at an incoming event. The clock operation is pretty silent compared to other clocks that I have tried in the past. I would recommend this to anyone as it is very reasonably priced for the quality. It has good dimensions & is worth it for the set. I ordered this thinking that I was getting a bright blue clock and what I got was a Steele blue clock instead. I didn't return it because I didn't want the fuss. Lucky for them I hung it up anyway. Looks good.

    • Third battery and it’s only been used one month
Very pretty clock but it doesn’t keep time. Been using energizer max batteries and have replaced them 3 times in 1 month. Don’t understand why is it using so much juice. Hands don’t appear to be rubbing. Might try replacing the mechanism because the body is very cool.

I have to admit I was a bit surprised when I opened the box and saw that I had to assemble the clock but upon getting everything out of the box it was no real concern. The main part of the clock itself is ready to go but you have to put on the "starburst" fins and I am guessing that packing it this way results in a LOT less damage in shipping complaints. The only thing you might have to be careful about is the actual hands of the clock but the manufacturer realized this and included a spare set of all the clock hands (even the second hand). It looks a lot like the one we had on my wall when I was a kid and since the fins are provided separately you have the option of painting them any color you wish easily. So with it all placed and on the wall of my son's house I have to give this 5 Stars ... show more
