I had a space that was 25" wide. I searched a basket that would fill the area to look best. I ordered the Large basket which is supposed to be 22". I understand this is fabric and flexible, however the basket really only measures about 20". It is very sturdy and is holding very heavy glass items and does not feel unsafe. It does not have an odor which I appreciate so much with mail-order purchase. It does come folded up very small in a way that is shocking for the size and as others reviews have said that folds do not come out easily. Mine have been open and full for about 2 weeks in the pic and you can see how pointy they remain. This is a great basket UNLESS the sizing is very important for you. I really needed it to be 22" as stated but will make due since it is very nice quality. ... show more

I've been trying to get my house more organized, so I thought I'd give this cotton rope storage basket a shot. I liked the idea of a multi-purpose basket that I could use for everything from blankets to laundry to my kid's endless supply of toys. When it arrived, I was happy to see that it's a pretty generous size. I was able to fit a couple of throw blankets in there no problem. The handles are sturdy and make it easy to tote around from room to room. I've been using it to corral all the scattered toys at the end of the day - it's been a lifesaver for quick cleanups! The cotton rope material feels strong and well-made. I'm not too worried about it falling apart anytime soon. And I appreciate that it's odor-free - nobody wants a stinky blanket basket! I will say, it's not the most attractive basket I've ever seen. The colors are a bit bland for my taste. But it gets the job done and blends in well enough with my decor. One thing to watch out for - it comes pretty creased and misshapen straight out of the package. I had to stuff it full of towels for a few days to get it to look somewhat normal. A bit annoying, but not a dealbreaker. I did try washing it per the instructions, and while it held up fine, it did take quite a while to air dry completely. Just something to keep in mind if you're planning on using it for laundry. Oh, and if you have pets that like to chew, keep an eye on this basket. My puppy thought the rope handles looked like a mighty fine toy. Thankfully he didn't do any real damage, but I could see it being an issue for more determined chompers. Overall, this is a solid storage basket that's handy to have around the house. It's not gonna win any beauty contests, but it's functional and fits a ton of stuff. Just be prepared for some initial reshaping and a bit of a bland look. But hey, if you just need a place to stash your junk, this basket gets the job done! ... show more
