  • Great Bargain 10x26 Coop
Size: 9.8' L x 26.2' W x 6.56' H
If you want a hurricane proof coop, scroll on. If you want economical, easy to build and great value, this is the coop for you. We bought the 10x26. Frame build out took about an hour. I highly recommend having a drill and small pilot bit on hand for the few times you need it. Ratcheting socket set is also recommended. It was super easy to follow directions. The most time consuming part is wrapping and zip tying the chicken wire. Walls are approximately 4' tall and center peak is roughly 6-1/2' tall. The tarps are not installed in my review pics. You will definitely need way more zip ties then they include. We used the 800 included zip ties up before we even finishing the side wraps. Overall we are very happy with our purchase for the price paid. You can not and will not find a better deal than this. ... show more

  • It seems nice and sturdy.
The cover works for the chicken pen I bought it for. It seems to be a good cover I'm completely satisfied with it. It's 3 to 4 inches narrower than the one that came with the pen. It's no problem it's fine. we only covered two sections of the pen, one came with it. It's no problem for me but just so you know it's not exactly like the original. I have one white and one gray cover on my pen. The chickens don't mind at all. ... show more

  • Great value on a bird pen
Size: 9.8' L x 13.1' W x 6.56' H
This pen is fine out of the box as long as it is in a fenced area to keep large animals like coyotes out. The frame is sturdy and the mesh is basically chicken wire grade. The assembly took 2 people, who are pretty handy, about 5 hours, however we strengthened it with another layer of heavy gauge mesh for a total of about 9 hours. Without the upgrade to the mesh the pen itself is plenty strong to keep grown birds in, however we have coyotes and plan on putting baby birds in it so needed a finer, heavier duty mesh. The frame is sturdy, to do the roof my wife, a petite 5'3 115lbs, put all her weight on the frame to reach the top from the outside and it held up fine. For the price it is fantastic ... show more

  • Easy to put frame together. Could be better overall though.
Size: 9.8' L x 19.7' W x 6.56' H
Could be better overall, but the frame was simple enough to put together. So far, down side is that included wire measures 41 inches tall, and from bottom rail to top rail measures 44 inches. Will need to really be careful you don’t run out of wire. Will also need more zip ties. And will def need to add hardware cloth on lower half to protect your critters. But I’d say worth it for a good start. ... show more

  • Great little starter run
Size: 6.56' L x 9.8' W x 6.56' H
If you want this to be your forever run.. id figure out how to attach a coop in the peak with poo fall thru flooring. Move it around daily if you have the space & are able. &/Or make half of it a garden bed so they can't eat everything to the roots. Get chickens. Some say its a waste do to feed. They'll follow you to the woods & eat fresh, lizards, bugs, anything. Fish guts, leftovers... Birds will clean up all the flesh at the world's end. Its in the Bible. Revelations.( ; ... show more

  • lightweight to the max
Size: 9.8' L x 13.1' W x 6.56' H
First thing I would say is they really need to look at several things with this. The frame is flimsy. I had several of them arrive with the ends bent out of round. Didn't take much pressure at to bend them back enough to fit, so maybe that is a plus? Manual looks like they weren't even going to attempt to translate as it's just pictures, no written instruction at all. Didn't help that several of the frame pieces were not labeled, matter of fact had a couple that were totally mislabeled which led to some head scratching. Netting is just lightweight plastic coated 'chicken wire' on one big roll, held on with plastic 'zip ties' I recommend at least two people to assemble, three might be better. Going to have to address the bottom railings as it certainly not going to discourage anything from digging under. A dog would be under it in no time. Height is misleading; the wall post are less than 4 feet high, so really cuts into getting around my coop inside.... the door is very narrow and you have to assemble it, was a bit of a pain trying to get it good and square. Extra pair of hands would have helped out with that one. All in all, this product is a good example of you get what you pay for. Except, I'm not sure I even got that. Good for temporary, lower security protection for your chickens. I will probably try and figure a way to remove the coop and attach this thing by a run to help, but again, this product was much less than I would have thought. UPDATE: Zip ties are brittle and easily break, I watched my beagle pop two of them in less than a minute. I have now used some lightweight wire to "sew" the fabric to the poles. I continue to have issues with the door becoming off square enough to make opening and closing it more difficult than it should be. The wall height has proven to be really problematic as I can only walk upright in the middle, and with the limited clearance with my roughly 5 x 5 x 5 hutch inside, I had to modify the hutch ramp etc to make it work at all. I am starting to think I need to work on a tunnel system so I can remove the coop from the cage altogether by the time the pullets are grown. ... show more

  • Let's be honest...
Size: 6.56' L x 9.8' W x 6.56' H
I could not have built a run from scratch with my tools and skill level. In that respect, this was a life saver. However...the assembly instructions leave much to be desired. There are no holes drilled in some of the poles and you have to apply a great deal of force (via hammer) to get them started. Also, take my word for it, assemble the door on a flat suface. It will not go together if you try to assemble it upright as the instructions indicate. The chicken wire is very flimsy and the whole thing is lacking in support. A fair bit of modification is required to make this sturdy and secure from predators. For the price, it's a decent place to start. But if you keep chickens in this thing, you should be prepared to do quite a bit to it before it's ready to hold or protect your birds. It's rather small and won't be a fitting size for very many birds. ... show more
