The instructions were not clear with the very top but as you work your way up, it’s obvious what you need to connect. Regarding the video review on Aug 15,2023, that person showed it being uneven and not lining up. If you look at that video, you can see that they used the 2nd longest pole about halfway up the rack. (There are 3 sizes with the poles) They built it incorrectly so I wouldn’t go off of their review. Pay attention to the details and you literally cannot mess up. This is much more sturdy than I expected and I’m not mad about it. The cloth that the shoes (or whatever you use) lays on is solid although at first glance it seems cheap. The poles lined up perfect and all I did was use my ability to push the bars into the brackets on the carpet. This made it easy so I didn’t have to use any tools whatsoever. Each row I completed, I pushed down from top to bottom and it really secured and locked each piece in. Once you start to build it, you’ll understand. It’s easy to do even thought there are over 100 pieces. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AND YOU WILL BE GOOD! I recommend this rack! I’m going to update this review only if it turns out to be junk; which I am not getting that inclination at this time. Perfect size for me. Not wobble. I love how they showed to skip one shelf to make room for boots on the bottom. I put my snow boots on the bottom. I LOVE this shoe rack. It doesn’t take a lot of room. Just height! I love hanging small accessory bags on the hooks…LOVE, Love, Love. Highly recommend.

I receive this and after a bit of a look, figured out how to assemble. The unit is about closet rod high, but made of cloth and plastic sticks. I did not expect it to hold all of my shoes but it is and has for over two months now. It is too flimsey to trust it to stand up with weight on the upper shelves. Every time I pull a set of shoes, I hold the unit to ensure I do not bring it down. I was reluctant because it’s plastic and not very expensive, but it’s exactly what I needed. Easily holds my husband size 12 shoes. Stable considering it’s plastic and tall so you can maximize your space. The hooks for the side are a nice added plus, my husband uses them for his belts and ties.
