I would have loved this coat but the elastic on the cuffs has got to go. Way too loose! I think a wider, tighter elastic would work much better. The cold blows right up the sleeves! I hope Land’s End considers changing this. An inside cell phone pocket would be appreciated as well.

I took this jacket on a recent trip to Anchorage Alaska. I needed something not to heavy to pack since I was leaving from the Bay Area in California and only doing carry on. This jacket packs in its own attached bag it’s waterproof, has a high down count I believe 90, and it’s very warm yet not heavy to lug around. I am a California native who tends to get cold easily yet this Lands End jacket kept me warm and one more thing it’s long enough to cover my back end another plus. ... show more

I bought this for visits to a cooler state where I visit often. It's very light and although it doesn't have a separate bag, it packs up into its own inside pocket. There is another inside pocket as well and two on the outside. No sign of down poking through the fabric (as was the case with another brand) and it seems to be well made.
