This unit broke down exactly 2 months from the purchase date. The return only allows for 30 days. Very disappointed with this product. It cooled fine and seemed to have no problems then just stopped. Would not recommend. Not worth the money.

    • Amazing but not English?
Bought this and it is a good thing I have a little bit of common sense slash creative mind because the instructions are picture unless you read the foreign language it’s written in. For anyone needing a hint you either buy another tube from lowes or you cut the tube they give you in half which is what I decided to gamble with. Instructions don’t go past putting the input/output plastic addition piece on. So put the tube on the black pieces and then use the hose secure to keep it tight for no leaks. And like the instructions say the sides are not specified any hose can be the inlet and outlet all that specifies that part is the pump you attach to one or the other and put under water.     • It’s okay. There’s probably better out there.
It arrived pretty quick but it won’t take the temperature down to where I want it. When first setting it up the fan wouldn’t even turn on and it wasn’t cooling. I had to unplug everything and take the tubes out a few times before it would finally work. Last night I set the temp to 64 and the fan was on and everything. Now it’s just sitting at 66F and isn’t cooling anymore. ... show more

Very quiet and the size compared to other 1/10 HP chillers is excellent. So far so good. Using about 45 gallons of water and got chiller set to 64 to see how low she can go. Ambient temp of room is 72-75 degrees.

    • Dead on arrival
Never wrote a bad review so this is a first. Bought a lafati 42 gallon aquarium chiller was not able to set up till after the return window and it only showed the display window and does not power up. No support and poor Chinese directions spend your money on something else
