I bought the Little Giant version (to compare) before returning this one. This thing is 5.2lbs vs 3.2lbs for the LG, it is painted steel vs aluminum on LG, so the paint immediately scrapes off after use against the ladder. Will probably rust shortly after. Also, it is very shaky at the joints due to the adjustable design (which is not needed since the standard height is properly flat for Gorilla, Werner, and LG ladders); the bolt literally fell off one the screws during use, and it doesn't slide far enough forward against the step when tucked away. It sticks out a lot more than the LG version (when tucked), so stepping on it to go up and down feels highly dangerous. All in all, just spend the extra few bucks and buy the LG version. I am all about saving a few bucks, but this product just isn't comparable to the version it is trying to copy.

This is more the seller issue. Box was broken and it was missing screws and bolts (2 each). I contacted the seller through Amazon and no response. I am returning it. I refuse to support a seller who doesn’t support customers and is willing to lose money instead of just sending the missing parts. Product looks ok. Heavier than I thought. It is painted and like someone else said, paint will come off. I am retuning it more because of missi g part but also because I thought it was going to be better than the LG one which is sold for the same price.
