This hammock chair is one of my favorite purchases in a long time. I always thought my front porch rocking chairs were the best place for relaxing and sipping wine, but they have been soundly upstaged by my new hammock. It is so incredibly comfortable, providing a great fit and great support for even tall people. (I got the comfort size and it is very roomy.) I never thought I'd prefer a hammock chair to a regular hammock but the more upright posture makes it better for reading and conversation time while still offering a super relaxing experience. I'm working on figuring out a way to add more to my porch as my friends love it too - it's very hard to get someone out of it once they try it! It was very easy to hang, with great instructions and a cool adjustable slidey thingy to get it to the preferred height. I did attach a carabiner so I can take it down easily if it gets too windy so it won't fly around and hit my window. It's super high quality and matches my house great (I have the green stripe version.) I expect it will last a long time, unless I wear it out since I sit in it so much! ... show more

I purchased this product a year ago to use outdoors, and have been very pleased with its quality and comfort. It has been outside continously all but a couple of days (because of storm and high winds), and has held up very well to sun and weather and regular use. Much of the day it is in the shade, but it still gets a fair amount of Florida sun and heavy summer rains, and has maintained the bright color very well without fading. Comfortable, easy to install, sturdy, lovely chair! I very much enjoy relaxing in this hammock chair, and so does my 5 year old grandson. He likes to spin in circles a bit more than I do, though. The wooden bar across the top makes it lots more comfortable for sitting than our older hammock, which I guess was more intended for reclining. (We did purchase, at the hardware store, a sturdy hook, a carabiner and a foot of metal chain for hanging the chair, because it makes adjusting the height as easy as moving to another loop of the chain.) I also really like the soothing green and beige colors when I see it out the window. Highly recommended! Update. I love my swing; it just feels great to put your entire body in the swing and to feel cradled/supported. It's a bit awkward to climb into at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's no problem. I usually sit crossed-legged or lie on my side and let the wind gently move me. It's great! The company is also wonderful.
