I have nothing but praise for this clock. It has a stylish design that would work with most decores. I really like the large face with clearly legible numbers that allow me to read the time from a great distance. There is also the added benefit that this clock is wirelessly linked to the atomic clock in Colorado and gets a daily update. This means that it's accurate within a tiny fraction of a second within your lifetime. I already have plans to buy another one. Two thumbs up! ... show more

    • Easy To Read, Spot On Accurate!

I purchased one of these in 2012 and it hung on my office wall ever since. It finally gave out 11 years later. I figured 347,133,600+ seconds ticked off was an acceptable working life for a wall clock. So I bought a new one. The newer version has extra battery slots so it will probably last longer between battery changes (but over the years, I think the old one used like 1 AA battery per year). I've always loved the nice size and it's easy to peek over out of the corner of my eye while working. While I program computers all day and have a clock on the screen, there's something about an analog clock that just let's you feel where you are in your work day. All that being said, my favorite feature is the "Atomic Time" dead on accuracy. Working in IT, I monitor several servers and they have jobs that fire off at various times during the day. Very satisfying when you see the clock on the wall's second hand tick to 12 and see the job fire off at the exact same moment. 16" sounds big, but it's not overbearing in my opinion. It's a substantial size and you get the time with just a glance. And the second hand will be dead on accurate with you computer or mobile phone. ... show more

I bought this for my garage but I wanted an atomic clock so I did not have to remember to change my clock every 6 months. Found out the newer clocks have the option of 1,2 or 3 batteries to make it last for several years without having to change the batteries. Awesome clock and I have had La Crosse clocks for almost 20 yrs now and they always keep time and I have not had to replace a single one yet. ... show more

I have bought this clock twice. I returned this first one, thinking it was just a fluke. Because I liked the clock so much, I replaced the broken one with another one. Now, about 3 weeks later, the arm on the new clock has stop working and just hangs. This is very irritating because it is a nice-looking clock, and I really liked how it looked on the wall.     • Took three days to sync to radio clock, but has maintained accuracy ever since

When I initially set up this clock and hung it on the wall, it took three days to receive and process a sync signal from the radio time source, and display an accurate time. However, comparing it every now and again with the NTP-synced time on the PC just below it, it has remained accurate to within a second or two ever since. I like the feature whereby you can insert two additional AAs into extra holders, in order not to have to worry about swapping out batteries again for several years (though don't put Duracells in these slots, because they will leak before any current drain is needed from them). It'll be interesting to see how long it takes for it to adjust itself automatically when daylight saving time ends. ... show more

With great impatience, I carefully placed the clock near the window and hoped it would work. We live in an area with very weak reception of radio/tv transmissions. The next afternoon, the clock had moved toward the correct time. Oh, maybe another night will make the difference; maybe it will actual work. One more night passed; and, with immense anticipation…It Worked! It had the correct time, and I became one, very happy 70+ guy. Even my wife has come to enjoy the clock’s precision and the second hand’s demarcation of time as it circles each minutes. Let it run for 24 hours it will sink up with the signal. It will then keep the exact time of cell phones etc.
