Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o) Who doesn't love a down comforter? Chilly nights are a' coming! The short version: This down comforter is well sewn, and nicely made. That said, I did wonder what weight of down would arrive on my doorstep, as the listing didn't give me a clue. I took a chance when I ordered it, truth be told. This comforter is quality... for its class. I would say it is more of a medium weight, more for year round use, rather than the heavier weight I was hoping for, for our very cold nights here. All is not lost, as I found myself curling up with this warm, comfy comforter this last while. Their tip of fluffing up the feathers in the dryer is on the money, as it does help with the expansion of the comforter. ;o) I must confess, the expensive pricing (hopefully I'm not that out of touch price-wise) of $259.99 at the time of my review... did give me pause for a lighter weight comforter than what I was hoping for. But here's the good news: right now the seller is offering a $120 off coupon, yep-- you read that right! This valuable coupon does bring the price down for a more affordable comforter for most people, in time for the holidays too! You can't go wrong with a quality medium weight comforter as gifts for family and friends, as everyone should have one, you know?
