Using this comforter couldn't have been easier: It arrived, I shook it out and I put it on my bed right away. (By Oct., temps were already getting down to the low 30s overnight.) It's been comfortable and kept me warm ever since. It's deceptively thin, holding in warmth without trapping in heat. Not one feather's poked through or poked into me. I feel super swaddled and cozy, getting a great night's sleep and snuggling in happily while I'm at it. I'd definitely buy another and just might. The quality's great and I love that it's stitched into a grid pattern to contain the material inside. Of all the comforters I browsed (which was a lot), I'm glad I picked this one. Some folks mention worrying about softness and noise level. This is soft enough to the touch but certainly not cushy. And I don't think it makes a peep. Pulled this full size comforter out of its vacuum sealed bag and popped it right in the dryer for a few minutes to puff it up. Worked great. I appreciate the ties at the corner and the middle of sides . I don’t know if there is a correct way to put a duvet cover on but I lay mine inside out on the bed. Place the comforter on top and tie it on. Then flip it the correct way and close it… worked great! This fits my full size bed will, giving me enough hang over to look nice, not skimpy or dumpy. It is a medium weight, warm and comfortable. We keep the house temp low at night 60° in winter and this comforter keeps it easily manageable. ... show more

The Serta Goose Feather Down Comforter is amazing. First, the packaging is so nice. When you open the box, you feel like you received a nice quality product, not some triple shrink wrapped, air vac tight thin comforter. Once you open the comforter, let it air out and fluff up. It is soft, breathable, cooling, yet warm enough. We have not put a duvet cover over it yet but it does have loops around the comforter to make is easy. For the price, you definitely get the quality. Wanted an inexpensive comforter that would be good for a guest bedroom that’s rarely used. This fits the bill. It fluffs up a little - not a lot - wouldn’t accuse it of being fluffy. It’s a bit heavy but I bet warm (warm is good). I was worried about the “crunchy” feel that some mentioned. One reviewer like the crunch so I figured it’d be ok. I’m not thrilled with it. If I had to sleep with it I’d get a different one. But for a night or two (ie guest) it will be fine. But not really a criticism inthat, if you want a softer fluffier one, got to spend a lot more. So on a tight budget, this is fine. If you want a more luxurious feel, gotta spend more. I ultimately got a flannel duvet cover to enclose it. Oh wow I can't believe the incredibly low price on this Serta down & feather comforter! I was a bit skeptical when I saw the prices. I ordered it in twin size for my 8 year old's bed, so i wouldn't be out as much money if it ended up not being what was promised. But it's great! Now time to order one for Mom and Dad's bed. This comforter is so so soft and cozy. It's like crawling into bed at a luxury hotel. Feels like you're sleeping wrapped in a cloud. The size is right and it fits my son's bed perfectly.
