This is a very good comforter. First, I didn't want to spend a fortune on a comforter. I looked at many comforters at all the various price points and read many reviews prior to my purchase. This comforter keeps me warm and is not too heavy. The outside of the comforter is 100% cotton which I wanted because microfiber comforters look and feel flimsy and make me hot. I'm a hot sleeper, so I didn't opt for the "extra warm" version, but the "year around" version. The comforter comes vacuum sealed so you have to give it time to fluff up. After a few hours on the bed, I put the comforter in the dryer for 15 minutes on low. It is not a big super poofy comforter, (opt for the extra warm if you want that extra lift) which is fine with me because I plan on purchasing a cover and extra blanket to layer the bed. It 's box construction so the fill is evenly distributed and features and all around piping stitching making it extra durable. It seems to be well constructed box and I have not experienced any leakage of feathers. This comforter suits our needs and is great value for money. You can spend $350.00 on other comforters, I'm glad I didn't and I will be purchasing more for the other beds in our house. ... show more

I've had several down quilts and this one is the best. 90×90" for my queen bed. Perfect stitching, no loose threads. No toxic smell when removed from plastic. I fluffed it in the dryer for 10 minutes. As soon as I got under the blanket the warmth began. No cold spots and the quilt did not slide around on the bed. Only reason I knocked off a star is because it’s too hot to sleep fully under this for me. I am a kind of warm sleeper and even when it’s in the teens here in MA I have my window open a little. I can only have this partially covering me while sleeping but it’s SO nice to snuggle under while watching tv or relaxing. It’s nice and fluffy, no funny smell, good price. I had to wrestle to get it in the duvet as any other but has loops in the corners and edges to tie in. I got the all weather version and would love to try the thinner one to see if it’s any cooler. I'm so impressed and in love with this comforter/duvet! This thing is exceptional quality and looks EXACTLY like the photo description. I can't believe it. This heavyweight comforter will be PERFECT for our subzero winters here in Wisconsin/Minnesota. Generally I have purchased "heavyweight" feather duvets in the past and usually they are not thick or fluffy, not even 25% of what this is. It is crinkly sounding but that is something I love because it is how a quality feather duvet is supposed to be made. It actually gives me a sense of comfort that I have become accustomed to growing up with this type of comforter 9 months of the year. The color is a true white. It really keeps me warm and I love the plush if the feathers. It does make a crinkle sound, but I like it. It washed well, but the thickness of it made it have to dry longer. I like the design of it and the price isn't bad. It looks great on my bed!
