I love my Remarkable Notebook and don’t see anything replacing it in my life. But I did not want to spend a $130-$170 on their folio, especially when it doesn’t actually hold the pen. The pen is magnetic so it theory it should just stick to the notebook but it definitely is not so secure. I don’t want to have to worry about losing it while walking or losing it in my bag so I love that this case/folio actually has a place to hold the pen. It doesn’t stick out much either even with the placement of it. I have had this for two years and it has held up great. The case itself is great! For the price, it is durable and thin. I LOVE the pen holder on the back. It’s nice not to worry about losing the pen. The only negative thing I can say about it is that it is near impossible to remove your RM2 once it is in the case. I just bought the case with the keyboard that Remarkable came out with and I’m not exaggerating when I say it took me about 20 minutes using all my strength to get it out (pro tip- start by trying to pop out the top corners first). This is a terrific cover - the fit is perfectly snappy and tight. It has a really nice look and feel. Power button and charge port are easily accessible. The brown cover is a bit darker than the photo shown above - which is just what I wanted. Very classy. Affordable. I love it.

Super tight fit and hard to get the tablet out once it is in. Also the bottom right corner breaks too easily causing a jagged edge to snag clothing. Before this, I used the REmarkable folio. In this folio, the tablet cracked from top right to bottom left.

Product is great, good feeling, perfect fitting and protection. I didnt like the way the pen gets into the back part. Everytime you want to put your pen away you need to raise the edge for the pen to slide in, you can see the last two pictures. It should be made with another material. First of all, it is not hard to remove the Remarkable tablet from this case. I'm not sure whether the people complaining about that in the reviews had a different case or a different production model, but the one I got seems to have just the right amount of difficulty - if it was too easy the tablet could slip out. It's a reasonably nice case and it has a pen holder - which the remarkable cases do not (which seems like a major oversight). It also wraps around the entire tablet which affords better protection. For $25, this is better than the Remarkable cases which are also very overpriced. ... show more

The case holds the tablet almost too well. It is very hard and will require tools to remove the tablet. The only real design flaw is the pen holder. The pen holder should be on the front of the tablet not the back.
