I will never buy anything but the name brand KT tape bc the dupes are trash and they don’t stick to your skin. This stuff literally takes DAYS to come off and leaves a slightly sticky residue on your skin, but I’m not complaining bc it sticks to my skin. The residue is easily removed in the shower too ... show more

I got a peroneal tendon injury but still wanted to run so I got this. I found instructions in the KT tape app and youtube videos from KT tape. On youtube they actually have multiple taping methods for the same injury which can be a bit confusing. Supposedly the most recent methods are the best bur they never explain why the new method is and improvement on the old method so you have no information to decide which is the best for your situation. I found 3 methods for peroneal taping. I didnt try the first because it looked like it wouldnt do anything. Second method they had used 2 full tapes and it was the one i used the first day. It felt like it worked amazingly well. The third method only used 1.5 tapes and being a bit cheap i used this method the second time andall times afterward. It felt like it did help but the half tape comes off more easily than the full tape and it felt like there might have been less support. Never having used kt tape before I did have some issues gauging how much I should stretch the tape when placing it. I think if theres no stretch it doesnt work and if theres too much stretch it also seems to not work as well. My tendon injury is healing and I thinm i wont need it anymore afterthis first box so i'll have to experiment more with it later. Also after getting wet once the tape will come off easily when wet or when sleeping. You will have to cover it at night. I didnt get any issue with irritation wearing overnight but I only wore it at most for 2 days/2 runs. Honestly by the second run Im skeptical as to whether the tape actually does anything since its been stretched over 5000 times already during the first run. In any case it helped me keep running while healing at the same time so it did its job. I dont regret buying it. ... show more

This stuff is great! Much cheaper than the stores, and you get name brand. Stays on after a long (and I really mean LONG) shower. You can probably keep it longer than 3 days, but I don't think I'd recommend it. Don't think you can peel it off, take a shower, and then reapply it. So, just keep in mind it’s like a bandaid so when you’re taking it off it lowkey kind of hurts. Maybe that was just me but it def wasn’t the comfiest to remove. Overall this was a great product to use. This used with compression socks made running so much easier. I didn’t get many shin splints, and kept my muscles feeling better. ... show more
