My apartment window looks out onto the neighbor's balcony. I like the sun for my plants so I bought this so I could leave my curtains open. The install took me about 10 mins from start to finish. I cleaned the windows with some Windex. Precut my material to about 1 inch overhang on all sides. Sprayed the glass with tap water. Peeled the backer off the material and placed it on. I used a kitchen spatula to push out any bubbles and then trimmed the edges to fit with a box knife. Super easy. The film is thicker and more durable than I expected for the price and it looks better in person than in pics. Way better than having blinds. Definitely recommend. ... show more

I got this window film for 2 areas in my house. The family room windows in a house we recently moved into are small. I applied this film and it actually reflect the sunlight so well the room is brighter than without it. I also put it on 2 garage windows that were coated with a layer of lime and it hid the lime buildup and created a pretty pattern of rainbow flecks in the garage.
