I got this window film for 2 areas in my house. The family room windows in a house we recently moved into are small. I applied this film and it actually reflect the sunlight so well the room is brighter than without it. I also put it on 2 garage windows that were coated with a layer of lime and it hid the lime buildup and created a pretty pattern of rainbow flecks in the garage. I recently moved into a new apartment. Several of my kitchen and entryway windows faced directly into apartment breezeway giving anyone who happens to be passing by an UP CLOSE and personal view of anything going on inside. My first thought was curtains, but being a lover of natural light, I put of sheers. No go. They offered pretty good privacy by day, but at night with the lights on it was completely transparent. I REALLY didn't want to hand dreary, heavy, dark curtains so I did some research and came across these window films. From start to finish they are GREAT! Great price, arrived quickly and a BREEZE to install. The rely on static NOT adhesive (this is NOT like contact paper). So you can remove and replace over and over and over if you need to. The finished product is beautiful. It looks like a custom glass job. No less than 4 neighbors have stopped to ask, "Where did you get that?!" The intricate design makes direct view impossible. But while offering privacy (and UV protection), it does NOT block natural light! Also doesn't weigh down the room with heavy dark curtains. I ended up getting more for OTHER windows. It actually provides a decent amount of privacy. It was pretty easy to put on the window and it looks very good upon installation. You just need a spray bottle, a blade and a window scraper to complete the installation. It's definitely a good buy.

Good quality. Handles easily. I was able to apply the film without any assistance, and as others indicated, it clung without applying moisture. I needed to cover a large window in my master bathroom that had previously been shielded by trees (that were recently removed). This film allows the light to still come through, though I can no longer look outside, all is not lost. It mainly addressed the problem I needed to solve which was to be able to shield the window from outside peeks and continue getting light. It’s beautiful inside and out!! Very easy to install and instantly makes the room feel cooler. Also it is very important to spray the window down with water!! It helps it stick better! I could not love this window film more. I purchased to cover the small window next to my front door for privacy. It's absolutely STUNNING. And so affordable. It was incredibly easy to put on and will be easy to take off (not that I'd ever want to). It looks like a very expensive etched glass, not a window with a film on it. Couldn't be happier!
