This is generally a good product, however this seller CPGIO, sent me a defective item and refuses any form of resolution. Do NOT purchase through them. In all of my years with Amazon I am just floored that there is no recourse when the consumer is sent a defective product.

Smells amazing, long delivery time.

This mousse works great and smells amazing. I love Kristen Ess products. It does the job of defining my waves/adding body to my hair and it’s a cleaner product. I gave it 4 stars because it took forever to get to me.

I love the product, but periodically it won’t pump out correctly. It’s supposed to be foamy, but sometimes it will just come out as water and takes several pumps to get back to foam. Kind of annoying because I wasted half the product because I can’t exactly hold water in my hand to put in my hair.

Cream or mousse—is there a difference?

I purchased both the crème and the mousse, and the cream works better for me than the mousse. I don’t know why, or the science behind it. I use the crème on damp hair to set my natural curls. Once dry, I finger comb, and I am done. Easy. I apply the mousse the same way, but I get less curl. I will us
e them both, and overall, I recommend the Kristin Ess products.

Occasionally I dream of wavy hair and fool myself in to thinking it’s possible with the purchase of the perfect hair product to make my dreams reality. Alas, this is not that magical product, my hair is still straight. But it smells great!

I dealt with some hair loss after having covid a year ago and my hair is much thinner than it used to be. I've been searching for something to make my hair feel thicker and this is it! The instructions say to scrunch this into your hair to create waves or curls but that's not what I do. I just use a
few small pumps and lightly put the mousse in my hair with praying hands. It dries with such nice volume and it definitely feels thicker. It does not make my hair feel crunchy and does not leave any type of film on the hair. My hair feels very soft once dried. I love this product!!

Have to wash my hair the next day

I had high hopes for this, especially for the splurge it was considering it’s basically salt water. I know salt spray makes my hair a smidge greasy looking, so I was hoping mousse wouldn’t. I ordered a few different dry mousse hair products, and this is by far the best! I have a lot of hair, but it is on the thinner side. It has a bit of a wave to it, but can also be frizzy. This product makes my hair fuller and takes away the frizz. I simply wash my hair and comb it, and then spread ju
st about a golf ball size of product through my hair with my fingers and do a bit of scrunching, and in about a half an hour I have soft, non-frizzy, wavy hair that has a good bit of volume. Good stuff.

I like the product a lot. It takes my frizzy curls but doesn’t make my hair feel “crunchy” or hard. Leaves it flexible. When I received my product it was opened and leaking. I had other things in with my hair product. Nothing was ruined just wet from the liquid.

LOVE this stuff. I have fine to normal hair but lots of it so it can get heavy. If I blow dry, my hair is straight. If I air dry, it is wavy.
