Easy to assemble - seat is kind of hard to pull up as child grows. Grandchild is now 2 and uses quite often when he stays with us. Sturdy and no issues at all - helps child feel and balance for future real bikes.

The bike is fine, it is well-built, and my grandson loves it. However, you were going to want at least 45 minutes to figure things out while looking at the instructions. The photos are poor quality and you can’t see the detail. There is a step between two and three that they don’t even mention. And that is making sure the frame in the forks lineup, and that the black cap on top gets pushed all the way down and turn to one side or the other so that it goes down even further, allowing the screw and step three to go in. Step four is also a little more complicated because of the directions suck so bad. The sleeves on the axle go on the outside of the wheels. The washers, which they refer to as gaskets, go outside of the frame, and before the nut. That would have been nice to know. but she would never know from the instructions or the fuzzy pictures. as you’re tightening the nuts on the axle, adjust them equally on each side otherwise one of them nuts will barely cover the axle and you will have half an inch of axle sticking out the other side. It is a bit of a pain, but not rocket science. ... show more
