The media could not be loaded. Having recently purchased the 1300W KOIOS Centrifugal Juicer Machine, I was initially impressed with its functionality. The extra-large 3-inch feed chute, full copper motor, and 304 titanium-plated steel filter were all standout features. It promised high juice yield and was easy to clean, being 100% BPA-free and even included a brush for convenience. However, my experience took an unexpected turn when I attempted to juice peaches, pits included. The juicer was unable to handle the hard pits, causing parts of the inner plastic housing to break off and grind. This resulted in an unpleasant burning smell, followed by smoke. I noticed damage to the bottom part of the juicer, with small slivers of plastic seemingly ready to come off. This left me with serious safety concerns, as it was unclear if this damage could potentially contaminate the juice with plastic fragments. I shared my experience in a product review, and to my surprise, the manufacturer, KOIOS, reached out to me proactively. They provided clear instructions on the proper usage of their juicer with different types of fruit, specifying that hard pits and seeds should not be juiced. They also agreed to send a replacement for the damaged part, specifically the 'feeder tube and lid'. Their swift and proactive response significantly alleviated my initial concerns. I want to note that after removing the peach pits, the juicer returned to its usual efficient operation. While I initially had worries about similar problems arising with other fruits like cherries, the KOIOS team clarified that cherries should be juiced without their hard seeds. This information was also confirmed in the "MANUAL-OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS & CAUTION PART" of the product manual. Based on my interaction with the KOIOS team and their initiative in addressing my concerns, I have updated my review. While my initial experience led to some safety concerns, their swift and comprehensive response demonstrated a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and product safety. This proactive approach to customer service, in my opinion, is quite impressive. In conclusion, while the KOIOS Centrifugal Juicer Machines boast impressive features and efficient operation, it is essential to heed the manufacturer's instructions for safe and optimal use. Their customer service is exemplary, and I appreciate their efforts to rectify my situation and ensure my continued satisfaction with their product. I’ve only used the juicer a few times but it has worked perfectly. I clean it right after juicing (before anything starts to dry on the parts) and that makes it pretty easy! Some ingredients I have used include ginger, apples, kale, celery, carrots, cucumber, and grapefruit, orange and lemon (all peeled). For a hundred bucks, it does the job just enough. I only use this juicer for Apples. Our mother has a thyroid issues and diabetes, she requires some juice. I juiced once a week coz we're busy as well so she can have it for mon to fri. Apple juice is recommended. If you juice maybe 30 apples at one time, it starts to overheat. The motor is not strong enough to juice that long even if you cut one apple in 3 parts. I give 5 stars because it does the job although not for a longer juicing or more juicing procedures. If youre the person need to juice more on fruits and veggies, I think it will work for a time..but not for long because its not durable, not stable and not efficient. This is a really great product. It's very easy to use and I loved the instructions as they recommend assembling and disassembling a few times before using. I thought that was pretty smart...and it worked. I put it together and take it apart with ese. We use it everyday for fruit juices. And then we use the pulp for smoothies. My next experiment will be with veggies. Am excited. This juicer is worth it's value. ... show more

    • DOA!! I was SOOO HAPPY … until it arrived.
I was sooo happy when I bought this on sale for $93!! I went out and bought 60$ worth of fruits and veggies and couldn’t wait for it to arrive! The second it showed up I unboxed it, read the manual, took it apart and cleaned it, then reassembled it and began peeling, cutting, and chopping fruits and veggies. After about 25 minutes of peeling, cutting, etc, I was ready for some juice! I put all of my (peeled) oranges in first! I plugged in the machine and the blue light around the power selector came on. Awesome. Then I went to turn the knob to the “P” function to pulsate and get a feel for it.. NOTHING HAPPENED!! Then I tried speed 1… NOTHING HAPPENED!!! So I tried speed 2 …. NOTHING!!!!! I took everything apart, completely disassembled it and reassembled it made sure everything was in its correct place. The safety bar was locked correctly tried to different outlet and again nothing!!! After troubleshooting through tech-support for 45 minutes I finally just gave up and returned it. I wasted almost $20 worth of fruit that I had now peeled, chopped, cut and ready to use but can’t. When I went to return this for another one, I noticed that Amazon would not allow an exchange for a new one. This happens many times when items are being returned a lot. They will not let you exchange for another one and instead you can have a refund or an Amazon credit. This tells me that a lot of people from this “on sale” batch are returning theirs too!! I will be purchasing another juicer.. but definitely Not this one again. Such a let down ... show more
